Room for Resonance — and the people who filled it.

Thank you to everyone who came to find us during 3 Days of Design. The smiles, the lingering, the people who came to say hello, it all means something to us and we are so grateful.

We made this presentation as a soft statement about the kind of work that we do: spaces of dwelling, gathering, and hospitality, built with makers whose craft you feel and are inherently drawn to.

A heartfelt thank you to @cuangreene and @rhyajw for joining us for the talk, and to everyone who came to listen and who shared this moment in time with us. Soon you can experience it all in full at @___omos and we couldn’t be more proud.

The exhibition was made in collaboration with @ascastudio and @residentnz, with contributions from partners: @___omos @fortgallery_ @delaespada @konsthantverktyringe @madebychoice @commondwells. We are in awe of the things you’re putting out into the world and for your continued support. A special thank you to @hollyhuntdesign and @apohli_ for completing the space, and to @biddirowley for capturing it.

If something here stayed with you, big or small, we’d love to continue the conversation.

Room for Resonance

A presentation staged across three days, composed in collaboration with partners whose work shows integrity of making and the quiet conviction of material thinking.

Together with Asca Studio, @relief.gallery has shaped a room that holds furniture, lighting, textiles, and art as a study in how craft behaves when given space to settle: how it shifts the ambiance of a room, how it makes the eye linger on a detail, how it makes a place feel cared for before a word is spoken.

This is a quiet preface to a larger conversation about the spaces we’re designing, places of dwelling, gathering, and hospitality, and a celebration of the makers working alongside us.

In collaboration with @asca.studio, @residentnz, @___omos, @madebychoice, @konsthantverktyringe, @delaespada, @commondwells, and @fortgallery_

Reposting these GORGEOUS images from the Sunday Salon 😍😍😍 @roisindebuitlear

Thank you to all who came to Sunday Salon at 2 Mountpleasant yesterday to share in the glorious setting of Mary and Aiden’s home.

They threw open the doors for us to play in the space and light to show these extraordinary artists to their full potential.

Gathering artists from the island of Ireland we were thrilled to be able to include people from the length and breath of the country.

Mary and Aiden have renovated this beautiful home themselves and for one day only we transformed it with this palette of Contemporary Ireland - materials dug from the land, rescued from abandon, carved to echo the landscapes from which they came, captured in light and textures using stitch, weaving, painting, drawing, moulding and light. Against the backdrop of the building the work sang and touched many people who came to see it - today it has dispersed again, a memory in images and encounters.
Infinite thanks to our gracious hosts and a very special thanks to the artists who took part - we look forward to the next one

— ‘Kimono’ (Conor O’Brien, 2025)

Capturing an intimate moment with ‘Kimono’, a piece created by me for the launch of my debut collection ‘Phantom Thread’, presented yesterday in the beautiful home of @mary.phelan73 for another instalment of the Sunday Salon series with @roisindebuitlear and @deemorgan_ @fortgallery_

‘Kimono’ embraces my approach to my dual inspirations in opposing musical identities: classical and techno. The piece is constructed of a stiff cotton poplin bib with clean behaving lines, celebrating the formality and dignity of classical music, alongside an open shirt construction crafted out of of sheer cotton organdie, which exposes the body and plays with the underground immodesty and sexuality of techno.

‘Kimono’ was originally presented at my debut collection ‘Phantom Thread’ for Dublin Independent Fashion Week in September 2025. It was a true pleasure to have this work presented again, alongside some brilliant Irish artists yesterday.
