Just a nice sub 24 hour jaunt fast packing with Drew up to Micah mountain and Manning camp. Nearly got bit by a rattlesnake, Drew puked, and we both ran out of water a few miles from the car. Still though, stellar weather (albeit hot), great company and true exhaustion. I’ve never slept so good camping. 10/10 would do it again.

First time having a proper, planned off-season. Most of it was a working vacation, heading to the wintery town of Blue for a stream restoration project with @wildarizona . Not being constantly fatigued, heres some of the bodily cravings I got up to. - Wrestling @fozzy_osbourne_ (his technique is better, but I’m stronger) - Sprinting up a hill to meditate at the top - Running 3 miles barefoot from work in the snow - Buying a sword - Building in-stream log and rock structures for erosion control and fish habitat - Shaving my head - Doing lots of push-ups - Closing a bar after taking a dozen turns on the mic with a dedicated karaoke crew. - A sunset picnic hike - Eating lots of pecan pie Now the rebuild begins. This reset was just what I needed to get hungry again

The turn out for the #westsidecommunityride was HUGE last night! Bikes were pedaled, prizes were won, beers were drank & new friendships formed. Thank you to our favorite brewery @dragoonbrewing for the hospitality/raffle items & thank you to the Tucson cycling community for taking the time to join us and make our week. We are so lucky to be apart of the Tucson community and enjoy seeing everyone come out for events like these. If you missed last nights, don’t worry. We have the next one OCT 16TH! More info to come in the following weeks. Thanks again. We 💘 y’all.
