Open, Collaborative, playful...that's what our workshops are.

A tremendous THANK YOU to everyone who made ROOTED special.

Each one of the participants brought and shared an aspect of themselves and their work like never before.

And to:

@sheila.nakitende we met two decades ago at an art residency in mombasa, and here we are creating ecoalchemy.
Thank you for the mask making and plant paper basics 101 and @joshua_semaganda for assisting.

@nikongamani for your very aligned jewellery and ever openness to riff and create😘

@@achen_official we first met at a previous workshop, and the professional way you bring yourself forth and take direction means there will be another shoot with you. You're a stunner!

Always, thank @fujifilmme for being a true ally in supporting creative education, growth, and building community.

Stella Nantongo of @fot.ea...ah...the journey continues. Bravo to what you do with @uppaward and promoting photography in East Africa.

Thank you Martin of Afropocene.

And looking forward to more masterclasses where we get to learn , share and create.

See you for EWAKA tomorrow!

On Wednesday evening we had the pleasure of hosting @terazphotography at BushPig Backpackers for a talk.

Many thanks to all who were able to join us, and to Tera for letting us into his world and sharing his work, process, evolving practice and time.

Thank you for the conversations, questions and reflections.

We'll share more of our upcoming exhibition programme, so stay tuned.
