Meet our speaker at WCCE 2026, Clayton Welham (@ccwelham), Partner and Executive Director of Found.

Clayton Welham, partner and executive creative director of Found, has over 20 years of experience as a designer, director and visual artist. He’s led teams across a diverse range of animation, live-action, XR and experiential projects in both conceptual and technical execution capacities. He maintains an excellent understanding of our evolving industry and works with both traditional tools, techniques and bespoke visual systems, blending a passion for fundamental craft with
innovation to drive Found’s creative vision forward. Clayton has performed as a visual artist at institutions and festivals
around the world such as the V&A Museum, Tate Britain, Kunsthalle Zurich, Berghain Berlin, Mutek Montreal, and Unsound Toronto. He has also spoken at global design festivals such as Forward Festival Vienna, Berlin and Munich, OFFF Barcelona, Seville and Vienna, Mouvo Prague, Motion North, London Design Festival, and Clerkenwell Design Week.

More than a decade ago, I started Onesal in Tokyo because I had a clear idea of the kind of work I wanted to make and the kind of studio I wanted to be part of.
Since then, Onesal has grown into something much bigger than I could ever have built alone. It has been shaped by every person who joined the team, every client who trusted us and every project that forced us to keep learning and moving forward.
Today, I’m incredibly proud to share that Onesal is now part of Forever.
We’re joining a group alongside FutureDeluxe, Tendril, Builders Club, Found and Trizz. They are studios I have known and respected for years, each with a strong identity and its own way of seeing the world. I’m proud that Onesal now stands alongside them as Forever’s studio in Asia.
I thought very carefully about what the next stage of Onesal should look like. For me, this was never about changing what Onesal is. It was about giving the studio more room to grow, learn and push the work further, while protecting the culture and creative identity we have built over the past eleven years.
Forever understood that from the beginning.
What excites me most is not only what we can learn from the group, but what we can bring to it. Our team, our experience, our culture and our perspective from this side of the world now become part of a much wider creative community.
I’m deeply proud of the team and grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey, whether you worked with us, trusted us with a project, supported us or challenged us to become better.
This is a huge step for Onesal, and we’re just getting started.

We have some big news!
Onesal is now part of Forever.

We’re joining @futuredeluxe , @studiotendril , @buildersclub_studios , @found_studio and @trizzstudio , bringing Onesal’s perspective, experience and creative culture to a group shaped by distinct voices, ambitious work and a shared commitment to craft.

Becoming part of Forever gives us the chance to exchange knowledge, explore new ideas and collaborate more closely with some of the most talented people in our field. It also strengthens Forever’s presence in Asia and opens up exciting new possibilities for Onesal, both across the region and beyond!

Onesal will remain Onesal. The same team, the same creative ambition and the same care for the work, now connected to a wider international group.

This is what happens when the art direction understands the brief before touching the renderer. Found Studio for Specsavers one of the best CGI decisions I've seen.

Cloth simulation was the hero of this ad. Not the product. Not the lighting. The fabric. And that was the whole point.
