Second batch of artists exhibiting at our souk El fan!! This Friday at @brzkh.space , come explore various prints and artist crafts! 1. Joelle Jabbour (b. Lebanon, 1996), known as Hot Ice Cream, is a multidisciplinary artist and designer. With a background in interior architecture, her work merges bold visuals, vivid colors, and surreal themes across illustration, graphic design, and music, creating imaginative pieces that challenge conventions. 2. Aude Abou Nasr, also known as Ahlan My Darlings, is an illustrator and animator based in Beirut, whose work delves into personal and collective histories, weaving introspective narratives that explore memory, intimacy, and shared experiences. Through her projects, she raises questions about place, community and context, and the frictions they create with our desires and realities. 3. Founded in 2020, Studio Kunukku is a multidisciplinary design studio and production space based in Beirut. The project is rooted in a profound appreciation for traditional crafts and a dedication to rediscovering and preserving artisanal textile techniques, focusing on woodblock printing from the Levant. 4. Atef khodr is an illustrator from Lebanon. Drawing from his personal journey and a deep connection to Beirut, he weaves captivating visual narratives. 5. Mazza is a collective of artists who all share the same passion: visual storytelling. We aim to expose Lebanese artists by publishing their work in our fanzine, on our social networks, or within the collective's events. Mazza reinforces total freedom of expression, and encourages our artists to express themselves in the most honest and personal way.
