![[BRING IN CHANGE X FOURPOINTZERO] - For the launch of the charity cookies, with the packaging designed by @kristopherh , @bringinchange has teamed up with @fourpointzero.run to host a speed running session for the elderly. It was good to see a meaningful collaboration which brings something positive back to the community.
Once again, thank you for the opportunity and all the support provided by the both teams to make it another joyful experience.](https://s10.imginn.com/825322312_18626242315044308_2860122488266318363_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/825322312_18626242315044308_2860122488266318363_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p828x828_sh2.08_tt6&_nc_cat=101&ig_cache_key=Mzk5MzkxNjg2NDgxOTgxNDcxOTE4NjI2MjQyMzEyMDQ0MzA4.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNMSVBTLnhwaWRzLjEyMTUuc2RyLnZpZGVvX2RlZmF1bHRfY292ZXJfZnJhbWUuQzMifQ%3D%3D&_nc_ohc=I9eqAK3i_iMQ7kNvwGqNLlc&_nc_oc=AdokGvGCx7k0_SucuJzZexwt8-Y9--dgryYbmdJr_WY0hsXVopdpOIU4lovvX4QCuPcvmOWB2qYpJ5er16sxMJ8A&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw6-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=bzvzJZYMhANq_ccAXn6l5g&_nc_ss=7a20f&oh=00_AQMSUgs15DZD5laWjX4J2ywTVpEykqH8VWvtQ5coC1_sNQ&oe=6AD935D9)
![[ABOUT 4.0 GRAPHIC DESIGN PART.3] - Back in May, @fourpointzero.run decided to have our first 5Km time trial run. In order to make it more fun and help our teammates to feel more anticipated about the race, we decided to turn the whole programme into a mini relay race and split the crew into two teams according to their 10Km personal best record.
I am a person who loves creating titles for things I like, so I decided to name the race “THE GREAT CONFLICT” and the teams were named “PROTAGONIST” and “ANTAGONIST” (the main inspiration of the names were founded from the movie “TENET”, which the lead character was named “Protagonist”). The race drew inspiration from the famous HAKONE EKIDEN - Tokyo - Hakone Round Trip College Ekiden Race, while I took this opportunity to practise my graphic design skills, and with the help from the amazing @katolone . We have created a mini series of artwork, relay ribbon and tee for our teammates.
@fourpointzero.run has always been more than just a running platform but a place for me and my fellow designers to experiment with new design aesthetics and practise our skill sets. I am not aiming to turn this platform into a business and at the moment it still remains as a closed group and recruited by invitation only. It is my way to keep this platform genuine and fun with a minimum amount of commercial influence, at least for now. In this group the most important and core values are : RUNNERS + ART & DESIGN, and shall always be.
MORE TO COME, STAY TUNED.](https://s10.imginn.com/731406308_18599567233044308_1424689460487535069_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/731406308_18599567233044308_1424689460487535069_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p1290x1290_tt6&_nc_cat=108&ig_cache_key=MzkzNTI3NzQ5ODQ0MjA0NDMzMA%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNBUk9VU0VMX0lURU0ueHBpZHMuMzI0MC5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=m7_T1uYHpkYQ7kNvwH5iIg5&_nc_oc=AdpKC4Gp_s_uHUJ4_InN9HvKwtYbN7DnHNT4Z-0wUt7awR2kb0TpXxEHRg7V_-bzDl9EpL_0jsz4-A0sYj73olkK&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw6-2.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=bzvzJZYMhANq_ccAXn6l5g&_nc_ss=7a22e&oh=00_AQM5GWiJEEM3dEeGfBeJomS8uw7a150iutdXkHWClJfzAg&oe=6AD92BB9)
![[ABOUT 4.0 GRAPHIC DESIGN PART.2] - To be honest graphic design is not my specialty, yet I have always been surrounded by super talented designers for so many years. I guess I have been unintentionally developing a taste in graphic design. Design is very different from painting, as you are here to solve a problem, and how good you are is defined by how much of your aesthetic can be implemented while providing a solution effectively.
I don’t think I know much theory behind typography and graphic design, I see them as an illustration and how placement and balance shall be made to convey a message, how different composition can affect the overall emotions. They are all part of the spectrum of visual communication.
I am forever grateful for being supported and surrounded by all those amazing designers who are so generous to share their experience and knowledge with me along the way, especially provided assistance when I needed. I guess I am trying to learn this because the journey turned out to be a different kind of joy and more lessons to be learnt.
Thank you for your patience @katolone . 🫶🏻](https://s10.imginn.com/731700190_18597706288044308_8882510155960307284_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/731700190_18597706288044308_8882510155960307284_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p1179x1179_tt6&_nc_cat=110&ig_cache_key=MzkzMDg3MTUyMTgzNTkwODI4OA%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNBUk9VU0VMX0lURU0ueHBpZHMuMTMzMy5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=KhQsbDWlncAQ7kNvwGHAVeu&_nc_oc=AdqNcqfWJrMb89arI5y2oAmGLjVsUO-xRfv6551jKub_ZiKLdfe2cH5J_RYqQaDFxRE4hY9fnNn4I_uV2k6DNDfN&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw6-2.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=bzvzJZYMhANq_ccAXn6l5g&_nc_ss=7a22e&oh=00_AQOeNLNggbU2exwLMDELgw0LKNEMTwzO3_rlrgVtZXIlpA&oe=6AD9499A)
