Front door is installed at our South Church Project! It is STUNNING!

I took a few shots of the windows in the breakfast nook too. Wow. That vaulted ceiling with all of the natural light will be amazing when it’s finished!

We are still working through our exterior paint colors. Check out the amazing mock up sample boards in the last photo!

What colors are we considering?
1️⃣ White Dove-
Benjamin Moore
OC-17

2️⃣ Pearly White-
Sherwin Williams 7009

3️⃣ Chantilly Lace-

Before/After-It’s never that easy! There is so much work that’s goes into these projects! You’re not alone if your project is taking more work than you expected!

This home underwent a huge renovation that was completely unplanned!

A hurricane swept through our small town & left this home with major damage.

The good news, we could refigure the space to work better for this family!

What changes were made?

1️⃣A weird storage closet was converted into this beautiful en-suite bathroom.

2️⃣We added a Powder Bath with entry from the main hall!

3️⃣The closet location changed to create way more storage space for this bedroom!

Stay tuned for part three. I’ll show you how the old guest bath was converted into the new primary bath suite!

Follow along! 🤗

How cute is this Guest Cottage on the Bay?! ☀️🕶️

Love how this project turned out. My client & I worked on the design of her main home & the guest cottage for more than a year! (tap #lillianbayproject to see more photos/videos.)

We designed the finishes in the guest cottage with aging in place in mind.

✨A Few Highlights:

-Open floor plan with a full kitchen

-Primary Bedroom with vaulted ceiling makes is feel soooo big!!

-Large closet with washer & dryer

-The primary bath has a zero entry shower (shower glass pends) & a hand-held sprayer.

And that view of the bay is amazing….🤗
Are You ready to visit? 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋‍♂️

✨Custom Home Tour✨
SO excited to see this project finished, but a little sad it’s coming to an end!

I worked with the very best clients on this “Lillian Bay” project & I am so excited for their family to finally move in!

We actually started work together during the plan design stage. ✏️

Designing your finishes & fixtures for a custom home is a full time job! It can be a little overwhelming at times too.

It helps to have a little guidance during the design process of building your custom home. 🤗

…And when I say we worked together, I mean together. These designs are not all of MY ideas. They are OUR ideas.

I work with my clients to help them make the best decisions for their home!

This home reflects their family & what a beautiful place to live! I am so thankful to of played a small role in this process.🥰

I have more photos & videos to share, so follow along!

Let’s talk about designing your master shower tile.

It’s just tile, right?

Well, there’s a little more to it.

I’ll break down this tile design in the Primary Bath of my Fish River Project as an example.

✨Shower Tile Design:

This 3x6 subway tile has a lot of range to it. That’s just industry jargon that means it has a lot of color variation.

That variation can make it a challenge to coordinate your other tile areas & countertops.

✨We chose that tile first.

We then coordinated the shower floor with a small Mosiac.

Next up, floor tile. We literally walked into the showroom & this large format porcelain blew us away. It was the perfect match.

Pro Tip: Remember, your floor tile needs to be slip resistant. Check the tile specifications. You can usually find it on a sticker on the back of the tile.

Next, we coordinated the countertop. We chose Pure White, because we didn’t want the top to compete with the other colors.

We had enough going on & adding a third color would be way too much.

I’m sure you’ve seen photos of bathrooms that had way too much going on! That’s usually just one material that was a little off or over done in the space. It can throw off the entire design.

We continued the shower tile through to the tub surround.

I’ll talk about that amazing tub in another other post.

Notice I said, “We coordinated” and not I coordinated” the tile.

It’s always a group effort! I work with my clients to help them choose what they love for their home.

They rely on my industry experience & knowledge to guide them through the design process.

The end result…an easier & less stressful way to design your custom home.

Remember, if you need 1:1 help with your design, we can work together virtually. Tap the link in my bio for more info!
