Another beautiful pattern by @foxfig was released today #storyvale. This is a three colour change. Was privileged to test and love watching the pattern emerge. This pattern is well written with lots of helpful videos and picture references. If you want interesting detail and a little challenge try this pattern.
I used @tofinoknit.co yarns for this lovely yarn and so squishy

I did this test knit in @hedgehogfibres DK. I'll post more Friday when the shawl pattern is released.

The amazingly squishy and warm Storyvale shawl designed by @foxfig. The rhythm of the stitch pattern is beautifully medative and relaxing. You can add as much (or little) colour as you like allowing you to make it your own!

I absolutely love this latest finished object! My 8th hat of the year, keeping up with my 1-hat-a-month goal. It’s the ‘Bloomtrail’ hat, designed by @foxfig. I knit it up in @knittymcpurly‘s hat of the month yarn from May, which is a 100% superwash donegal DK with little neon slubs in it. I was looking for patterns for it and this one was perfection.

I also just blocked a sweater, but it’s merino-brushed cashmere so it will probably take all week to dry. You’ll see it eventually! 😆

Soooo my summer sweater project is in time out. Just don’t have the time for knitting lately as there is always something else going on that I don’t have long periods of time to concentrate.

When we were in Michigan for @freshcoastfiberfest we met Melissa of @foxfig. She has several beautiful designs but this one caught my eye. It is the Nouverie Cowl. It has lots of cable stitches that are quite easy to knit with just rearranging the stitches on your left needle.

I am using our Yak DK in the Aragonite colorway. I am having so much fun with this that I don’t want to put it down. I did opt out of the bobbles as I have not ever really liked bobbles. Thankfully Melissa gives us the choice, bobbles or knit the stitch. Yay!

This will be added to our show samples this fall so be on the lookout for it. We are super excited about our fall shows. Lots of new stuff coming. ❤️
