It was really fun getting to work with @kayteeanne7

She took direction well and shared her dancing life story with me. It was quite interesting 😁

Thank you for a great session Miss Katherine 🙏

I hope to work with you again sometime. 😁

The photograph is only the beginning.

For me, a portrait has never really ended with making the photograph. I want to create something beautiful from the people you love. Something that holds a place in your home, keeps those people present in your everyday life, and becomes even more meaningful with time.

And for a long time, I’ve wanted to explore how I could take that even further.

This past weekend at @fpp_fl Florida School, I spent time with @painter.12 learning digital painting and exploring just how much possibility there is beyond the original photograph. These two little before-and-afters were class exercises (clearly I had a little fun with that flamingo 😂), but they’re part of something much bigger I’ve been wanting to explore.

I’m learning how photography can become the foundation for mixed media artwork, continuing through digital artistry, texture and hand embellishment. Each layer creates the opportunity for something more personal, more dimensional and truly one of a kind.

This is an exciting new layer of the work I already love creating, and I’m looking forward to sharing more of the process as it takes shape.

The photograph is where it begins.

I can’t wait to show you where I’m taking it. ❤️

I was asked to speak at ImagingUSA!!! I can't even begin to tell you how much this conference and the PPA has changed my journey as a photographer.

Who's going to ImagingUSA in Charlotte?

Shoutout to @spectaclephoto for his session, “Permission Granted: The Freedom to Fail, Experiment, and Create with Intention,” for the inspiration to step outside my comfort zone and get creative.

Your creativity doesn't disappear when you rest.
Sometimes rest is what lets it come back ✨️💜✨️

With that said I'm catching up on sharing more of the photos from the past couple of months 😊 starting with this one from the #FocusConvention2026 by @fpp_fl

I got to show off some of my creativity, help show off some creative lighting and work with some very talented photographers 📸

This particular photo captured by @geezusmusic who was teaching others not only how to set lights and camera settings but ALSO how to work WITH your models/clients be it conversation or posing help

10/10 would work with him again 🙌🏽
