For anyone who knows me, you know of my love for all things Muppets/Jim Henson related. Today I got to check an item off my bucket list I didn’t even know I had…

Today, Fraggle and I got to meet a real life Fraggle! Dave Goelz, a longtime Muppeteer who played Gonzo, Waldorf, and Bunson Honeydew (to name a few), came to Beauty and the Beast today in San Francisco and he was one of the loveliest humans I have ever met in my life.

He loved Fraggle (of course…) and loved that she was named after a piece of his work. That something he helped create inspired me enough to name my child after them.

We talked about Muppet Christmas Carol, and how he can’t watch it without crying because of how special it is to him.

We talked about Emmett Otter and how that was one of his favorite projects.

We talked about the love of creating and giving a piece of our hearts into what we do and why that makes what we do so special.

Today was a day I will NEVER forget.

It’s hard to believe, but we just celebrated our one year anniversary with @beautymusical It has been a year with the highest highs professionally and the lowest lows personally. But through it all I have had @fragglethepup to snuggle against her will, and the AMAZING @itsaaron5 to keep me laughing and sane. I couldn’t have done this without you!!.

This took quite sometime to pull together and it is just a small reflection of how monumental Levi’s first year working for Walt Disney Company & being apart of his beloved Beauty And The Beast Family. We’re grateful for the incredible opportunity Levi was blessed with one year ago today to join the National Tour of @beautymusical & be apart of the @disneytheatricals_ & @disneyonbroadway family.

We give honor & praise to God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit for being the blessed Trinity in our lives.

We’re grateful for every #StageDoor encounter, every theatre goer for their kind words & encouragement. We’re grateful for every beautiful human we’ve met: so blessed by the safe space & community that helps Levi thrive thanks to his beloved beautiful Beauty And The Beast family.

To Levi’s fantabulous School Principal, Mrs. B, we could never have done this without you and still can’t😘

Levi began Tour finishing up 2nd Grade & he continued through 3rd Grade. Mrs. S(2S) & Mrs. C(3C) have been incredible collaborating with Mrs. @lisswaters, Mrs. Jodi & the fantastic OLE Team. These hidden figures are keys to Levi’s success and without them, this could not be possible.

Miss @lisswaters, thank you for ALL that you do from educating Levi to looking after him ensuring that he is ready and at places each and every time. You ensure the Chips are safe & on top of their academics always & you capture the special moments creating core memories to last a lifetime.

Miss Melissa & our wonderful Company Management, Miss @maiadawn & Mr. @itsaaron5 always ensure that the kids go on wonderful field trips & our Inclusion Ambassadors Mr. @darrelltjoe & Mr. @joshtatsuocullen plan the most impactful experiences.

Thank you to Levi’s team, @theenchantedsms, Levi’s friends & our family for their love & support too. Thank you BATB for the most life-changing experience and loving my sonshine giving us beautiful memories to last a million lifetimes as we have a beast of a time traveling the country with you! Happy 1️⃣ Year Anniversary!

2️⃣9️⃣ Cities, 1️⃣9️⃣ States and thousands of pictures as well as videos filled with #corememories 🌹that we will treasure always!

Happy, Happy, Happy Blessed Birthday 🎉 to my bonus brother @kanoaedgar 🎉🎂 Your friendship and brotherhood are a gift and I’m so blessed to have you in my life. Thanking God always that we get to work, play, travel the country, do what we love and go to school together too.

I have so much fun making memories with you every chance we can like when we got to babysit Baby Jack with our Moms and having steak at amazing steakhouses around the country; going to @netflixhouse with your big brother @kaijosephedgar and the cool escape rooms with @kaleaedgar and Kai then again in DC with Miss @mainly.just.haley & Miss @ratz.itsjc, we’ve been on so many cool field trips with Miss @lisswaters and having our SMs Miss @malashia.joy and Miss @kelleylynnem come with us and our Big Sister @c_thomas551 too AND remember when Team Chip: me, you and @beatrice_b_adventure_diary got to meet THE Queen, #Disney Royalty, Disney Legend @iamsusanegan with our @beautymusical family!!!

Remember the @kpopdemonhuntersnetflix dance video we made with our @theenchantedsms Miss @cakellermeyer when she wrangled us in Tulsa🤩

Our fabulous Belle @kyrabellejohnson and Beast @fergsters95 took photos post show to raise money for Broadway Cares. Hearing the stories people share about how special this show is to them, always reminds me why we do what we do. Is it tough at times? Yes. But the joy it brings to people makes it all worth it @disneyonbroadway @beautymusical
