Free (Free_variable on discord) has Very Severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and is facing the threat of homelessness in Florida. They can only afford rent for 2 more weeks ($157 a week).

They have no sources of income and only receive SNAP. They have been abandoned by the system and receive 0 in-person support. Funds are needed to keep Free housed and pay for other essential needs.

They are in a worse physical state than ever before and will likely d*e if they become homeless again.

Congo Week 2026. 🇨🇩

The world cannot continue to benefit from Congo's resources while discarding Congolese lives.

Genocide, forced displacement, disability, and exploitation are not separate struggles. They are deeply interconnected.

Disability Justice cannot stop at borders. It must be global.

Center Congolese voices. Support Congolese-led organizing. Demand accountability, an end to genocide, and Congolese liberation.

⭐️ JOIN NAFAS’ SUPPORT NETWORK ⭐️ dm us for more info about joining the group, or come to our next meeting on Oct 29 at 7pm CET, 🔗 in b i o.

There are so many ways to help, in-person or virtually, one-off tasks or more consistently. If you can offer help in any of these areas, DM us!

1. Regular Involvement. Join a weekly admin meeting, find out more about the admin structure, and pick up one or two weekly tasks. 2-3 hrs/week.

2. Flat search. Be in the flat search group and go to viewings in Berlin when they come up.

3. Flat applications. Apply online for flats for Nafas. All information provided, you don’t need to live in Berlin. ~10 min/day

4. Online Ordering. Make online orders every now and then. 30 min –1 hour/week

5. Emergency Communication. Be on an emergency schedule for communication with Nafas around when problems come up. Training provided — we have a system for this.

6. Tandem for lawyer case. German needed, contact with lawyer, note-taking, gathering documents, and giving feedback to Nafas. 1 hr/week, more when the deadline comes.

7. PA shift planning. Plan the PA shifts once a week, and be in contact about it with the PAs. 1-2h/week

8. Item pickup and delivery. Picking up packages or other items and bringing them to Nafas in east Berlin

9. Written tasks. Small online tasks like compiling virus guidelines, translating posts, and composing messages

10. Phone calls. Making phone calls now and then in German

11. Graphic design. Making insta posts, editing in Canva

A heartfelt message to my friends and loved ones 💔

My dear friends, I write these words with a heavy heart. It is never easy to speak of one’s needs or ask others for help, yet circumstances sometimes compel us to turn to those we love and trust.

I am currently going through a difficult time, facing basic needs that I can no longer meet on my own. I have tried to be patient and endure as best I could, but I have reached a point where I truly need your support.

I am not asking for the impossible, nor do I wish to burden anyone beyond their means; however, if any of you could help with even a small contribution, it would make a significant difference in easing my situation.
