Tucked away on level 4 of Holland Road Shopping Centre, we visited the (not so hidden anymore) rooftop cafe:

📍 Frankie & Fern’s, Holland Village

Frankie’s Breakfast ($28)
Your usual big breakfast with creamy scrambled eggs, thicc bacon, soy tomatoes, roasted portobello and pork fennel sausage. Loooved the kale with crumbled feta on sourdough toast which I felt was the main differentiator! Typical, but good as always.

Roasted Short Rib Toast ($23)
This dish hit all the right spots for me - the short rib was tender, the provolone was melty and the chimichurri brought everything together. The chilli pickled cucumber was such a good addition too, giving some acidity to cut through the heavier meat. I’ll be ordering this if im back again!

Portobello Toast ($18)
French toast with truffle cream cheese, brie and roasted mushrooms?? Who would have thought this sweet and savoury combo would work, but it did.

Shoestring Fries ($13)
Overloaded with parmesan on top, and along with it came a garlic aioli dip. i’m definitely sold!

verdict: came hungry, and left satisfied 😋
