One of my favorite Frankie memories. Her TV debut on Pooch Perfect. She was and will always be my shining star. My angel in the sky. 😭😭😭😭😭😭

She fits in the palm of my hand. 😭💔 If I made a list of everybody that I’ve lost in my life, that list would be as long as a CVS receipt. I’m no stranger to grief. What I am a stranger to is losing the one being that kept me sane during those losses. She may just be a dog to many people, but to me she was my child. I made the conscious decision to not have bio children. I never knew that my child would come through anyway in the form of a dog. She was my baby. She was my life. After Mikey passed away I wanted to end it all, she is the reason I kept going. She is the reason I never gave up. Because she needed me. And I needed her. She was the only light in my life. My reason to keep going. Without her this world is unbearable. Now I have to navigate this cruel world without her. How?! I need to find a reason to keep going aside from my friends and family. I know they love me but I need to want to stay for me. I need to find a purpose for me. I’ve lived for others all my life. Now I need to live for me. And that is the difficult part. #frankie4♾️
PS, thank you to my sister Rosie for picking up Frankie for me from the crematorium and bringing her all the way to me. I’m grateful.

I’ve been watching Stevie the past couple weeks. He has helped to get me out of bed and continue the routine I had with Frankie. It’s definitely not easy. Frankie was his only friend. I miss them playing together. I miss her. 💔💔💔

A week without my girl has felt like a lifetime. The emptiness I feel can’t be described in words. The signs were there, I knew. I just didn’t want to accept it. We can’t stop the hands of time. But one thing is for certain, love transcends time and space.. they’ll always find a way to reach us. Ash 25, the day I took Frankie to get cremated, the 25th. I know she’s with my dad and Karla. Karla/Kas and 3/4, my dad’s birthday. 9/3 was Frankie’s bday. And the last one, 143 4 8. I love you for ♾️. 😭🐶🩷♾️ @frankiesqueaks

This was from a year ago. Fresh chicken was her motivation. She loved it. In her last days she couldn’t even eat her favorite chicken. 😭😭😭💔💔💔

I received in the mail today this beautiful piece of art that my friend Christy created of my little Frankie. A couple days before she passed I had been talking about taking her to the pumpkin patch in October. Sadly that day will never come. But this artwork is a beautiful sign that Frankie is listening. She is near. Even though the grief stops me from feeling it right now.
Thank you Christie, this art means more to me than you can imagine. This piece of art warmed my heart in more ways than you know. As soon as I get a chance I’m going to frame it and take a better photo of it. I’m so grateful for you!
If anyone loves whimsical art, please reach out to Christy. @christy.in.wonderland
