I got to share the magic of natural dyes with my herbalism classmates this weekend 🤍🤍🌿 Thank you @herbclub_la !

We worked with California sagebrush that I foraged from LA, and also experimented with some pine and sequoia cones.

What a dream 💛🌞🌿

What a gift to serve tea at @rachellerobinett’s book reading for her new book, Naturally, this week at @noto_botanics. Naturally is truly a beautiful entryway to herbalism. You can find Naturally wherever books are sold (hardback, audio book, and e-reader formats available) — also linked in @rachellerobinett’s bio 🌿💚

Today on Indigenous Peoples Day, we honor Indigenous peoples. We also honor plants that changed the world. Plants tended by indigenous hands 🌿🤎

The more I learn about indigenous practices & land stewardship, the more I feel connected to a beautiful future 💚

Today’s East LA Hustle & Heart conference brought together the most inspiring Latino entrepreneurs 🙌 From small business gems to media insights, this community is unstoppable. So proud to support my friend’s vision and witness the power of coming together to share knowledge and lift each other up. This is what community looks like ✨

A few happy shots from July because God knows it was a tough one. Hugs to everyone going through it. So many are going though it. 🫂 I say this a lot but I don’t know what I’d do without all the love I’ve been able to surround myself with! ILYSM ☺️

Can’t wait to share this very special installation. As an artist it can be difficult for people to understand your vision. I am blessed to have amazing family and friends who support and believe in my ideas. #laartist #latinatartist #londonartist #dtla #installationart #diadelosmuertos #diadelosdifuntos

A whirlwind of emotions at our #amigasinbusiness Live event with @capitalone 🥲 After months of planning and countless 60+ hour weeks, I still haven’t fully processed the beauty of this gathering. It was a true labor of love, created by a small but brilliant team.

This year was especially meaningful as I was inspired by @anaflores_me who laid the foundation & created the blueprint for gathering Latinas. I realized it wasn’t about filling her shoes but about embracing my own creativity and essence. Together, we became vibe curators, crafting a space for genuine connections and growth.

Feelings of joy, gratitude, awe, anxiety and that “I’m not crying, you are” face. They reflect my genuine happiness of bringing our community together, reminding us that collaboration is our currency (I’m coining this phrase!). We all deserve spaces that celebrate our colorful soft selves instead of pushing us into survival mode. And I hope we delivered that 💖

Huge thank you to our incredible team @mayrarosas.co @melissa___bailey @freckled.morena @gabbic92 @yajaira.rs_ @harlowplanning @the_lightleaks who all stepped into the CEO role to bring this to life. Our volunteers who looked out for all of our attendees and the WAG team. Our partners who fed, supported, and created experiences for our community. And a special mention to @stephyourgameup @capitalone for believing in our mission.

I’ve not fully processed the ripples of impact because being honest with you all, I’ve not stopped since our event. Wanting to capitalize on the momentum, I’ve been taking lots of meetings so that we can create more safe spaces for connection and growth in 2025!

Not pictured… the dozens of team zoom calls, speaker prep calls, hundreds of follow up emails, payments to vendors, tears, moments of literal WTF, pivots… all for the purpose of curating our comeback event after our Weekend Fest cancellation. Oh and we gave $100K in m’fing grants!!!

Thank you to my close friends and partners for holding space during all of my voice notes venting sessions… I truly couldn’t have gotten through this season without you.💖

Finally, thank you to me. You did that. 🦄

Also, shout out to every woman that believed in themselves, invested, and showed up for this event. Yesterday was such a beautiful day of community and connection. We can only win by helping each other win.
