As the new season is approaching and summer break comes close to an end, I’m looking back on the previous one! Oh what a season it was. My 5th year with @bayerischesstaatsballett and my 6th year as a professional dancer, this season was un unforgettable one. Not only was this year unforgettable because of the great repertoire we were able to perform on our beautiful stage, but also because I was promoted to demi soloist.. and if that wasn’t enough, I was awarded the 1st edition of the Aurora prize. To say not one but two incredible things happened to me this year for my career, feels amazing. I want to thank my director @laurenthilaire08 for trusting and giving me the opportunities to truly feel my best on stage. I feel so grateful and lucky to have the support from my family, friends, colleagues and staff. I’m feeling excited and ready to dive in to the new season ahead and see what challenges it may bring! 🤍 There are also so many more pictures I wanted to include but this will have to do for now 🫂

Hautnah: Frederick Stuckwisch (@fred_stuckwisch )

Frederick’s journey began in South Bend, Indiana, before carrying him across the Atlantic to the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam following his success as a finalist at the Prix de Lausanne in 2023. Today, we get to know Frederick beyond the stage as he shares a few personal reflections.
