Just announced.

MESSY EATER
“One of the most creative alternative pop acts currently operating in the UK” - Plastic Mag.

“Everything the indie-pop world is missing… cutting edge cool” - Dancing About Architecture
“A genre-melting joyride… that has kept us endlessly entertained” - Unrecorded
“Completely fresh… Messy Eater has a rare kind of vision” - Cheers To The Vikings
“A celebration and an exploration, breaking boundaries, defying expectations” - Music For The Misfits

Drawing comparisons with Gorillaz, Beck, The Avalanches, Jungle and The Flaming Lips, Messy Eater combines relatable lyrical observations on modern life with irresistible hooks and a unique self-produced sound to create vibrant, life-affirming music.

FREDDIE ROSE
“Astonishingly composed. Her palatial vocal placement is backlit by its seductive undertones; Freddie Rose commands the stage sirenic and strong.” – Content Nausea

A singer-songwriter blending indie soul and pop, pairing rich, soulful vocals with groove-led live arrangements and candid songwriting. Her songwriting draws from relationships, self-image and the realities of being young. Backed by a five-piece live band, Freddie brings an energetic, soulful feel to the stage.

AUTUMN CHARLOTTE AND THE LOVE BUGS
An Indie/jazz melancholy band fronted by a soulful female lead with a jazzy snazzy guitar tone. A real unique sound, drawing influences from Amy Winehouse and Jeff Buckley.

“Lauryn Hill/Winehouse vocal vibes with a Mac Demarco/Smiths backing with a HipHop Stax drums vibes” - Hot rockets

RETROSPECT
A contemporary jazz band.
Whilst exploring more contemporary sounds inspired by artists such as Cleo Sol, Yussuf Dayes, Haitus Kayote, the band is also heavily influenced by early jazz, building off many of the sensibilities in the tradition, with many of our pieces having a strong focus on improvisation.
