HELLO, OCTOBER!

We are officially stepping into one of our busiest and most exciting months at Whistle Stop, and there is SO much going on!

🍎 October starts our HOT APPLE CIDER!

👶🏻This is our last full month before bringing our newest little crew member on board. MAKE SURE ALERTS ARE ON FROM OUR SOCIALS-if we have to close, postpone or change schedules for any reason, this is where you will get that update first.

🎀 Happy Breast Cancer Awareness Month to all of our survivors, fighters, warriors, and the families who stand beside them. We see you, celebrate you, and are sending so much love your way. 💗

🤠 WILD WEST kicks off THIS WEEKEND!
🚂 More train fun throughout the month
🍂 Fall everything
🍎 ALL the hot apple cider
📍 And POP-UP ON PENN later this month!

MOST IMPORTANTLY, we have to give a HUGE shoutout to @greenvalleyharvesters because our little façade could not look more beautiful without them. 🌻🍂 From the mums to the pumpkins and all the gorgeous fall touches, they’ve helped make Whistle Stop look like the cozy little fall dream we had in our heads. 🧡

October is going to be a good one, Walkersville. We can’t wait to see your faces, pour you something cozy, and make a little magic together.

REMEMBER TO TAG US IN YOUR POSTS WITH ALL THE FALL SET UP!

🍂 FALL MENU IS HERE, FRIENDS! ☕️
(I’m squealing, this is where I shine!)

And because we simply cannot stop ourselves… we’ll be slipping ONE MORE ITEM onto the menu in October. 👀

But here’s the best part: everything can be customized. (per usual)

Feeling a Pumpkin Oatmilk Chai? WE GOT YOU.

Missing an old fall favorite from last year, like our infamousPumpkin Cinnamon Roll? WE GOT YOU.

Need a plain ol’ Pumpkin Spice Latte? Say less.

Craving a Maple Spice Brown Sugar? Yes ma’am. 🍁

Fall has SO. MANY. GOOD. FLAVORS — and we have them ALL. This menu is just the beginning. 😉

We can’t wait to see what you order, what you customize, and which one becomes your fall favorite. 🧡

Now let’s get to sipping, friends.

FALL IS HERE. 🍂☕️

Fifth year. Still the only night I willingly do yoga somewhere with a bone saw in a display case.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Cues and Boos at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine

We’ll begin with a spirited 60 minutes of Flow Yoga to ground your energy and open your senses for what’s to come…

Then, as twilight settles in, our guides will lead us through the museum to explore the mysterious, macabre, and hauntingly beautiful side of history. You’ll hear about the gorier truths of Civil War medicine, and maybe even meet a few of the ghosts said to still linger within those walls.

DATE: Friday, October 30th, 2026
TIME: 6:00 PM
LOCATION: National Museum of Civil War Medicine, 48 E Patrick St, Frederick
$30 cash at the door; all of it goes to support the museum

Limited space. Registration required: https://linktr.ee/jenuineyogi

Community is what National Night Out is all about. ❤️ It was an honor to capture an evening filled with neighbors, first responders, local leaders, live entertainment, and unforgettable moments. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success and thank you for welcoming me behind the camera. I can’t wait to share more from the evening!

Some places never get old.
One of my favorite things about living in Maryland is finding quiet corners that make you slow down for a minute. The light, the reflections, and the summer clouds made this spot in Carroll Creek feel almost like a painting.
Sometimes it’s nice to put the camera down after an event and simply photograph a place because it makes you smile.
