Thank You, Hollywood Times: “Extraordinary… a politically significant work of theater that succeeds first and foremost as compelling human drama. The storytelling remains fluid, engaging, and consistently entertaining. Skora’s direction is exceptionally precise. Something genuinely special.”

“Perhaps Skora’s greatest accomplishment is that he and his exceptional cast keep the focus on character, humanity, and the people behind the history. At the center of the production is Drew Droege’s remarkable portrayal of John Lawrence. Equally impressive is Fred Henson, who delivers a phenomenal performance. Matt McConkey provides the connective tissue that holds the story together, while Celeste Pechous is especially impressive, navigating her multiple roles with exceptional skill. Dylan Vox, Tom Trudgeon, and Aaron Tone contribute to the production’s remarkable continuity.”

Just imagine how nervous we were… Especially @theonlyalaska5000! But Bonnie Bartlett LOVED it, gushed about the show & happily posed for countless photos with rabid Gay fans! What an inspiration she is to all performers… i have always found that the people who played the most iconic bitches in TV/movie history are always the nicest people for some reason. Thank you @jimcolucci & @frankdecaroshow for bringing her to our little labor of love! 👵🏻🍰

So excited for opening night tonight! And we are absolutely thrilled to share the @cavern_cabaret stage with our very special guest @theonlyalaska5000 once again AND to welcome the adorable @fredhenson.cc in his Golden Girlz Live debut!

HUGE SHOUT-OUT to the beyond generous & supportive @__b___e___b__e__ at @outfitterswig who turned it out (at the very last minute of course because… well, show business!) This might be the very best Dorothy wig I have ever had! And Alaska will be cunty & snooty & elitist to the nth degree as the OG “Karen,” Barbara Thorndyke, with the help of this fabulous tonsorial creation featuring roots even blacker than the character’s heart!

If you need a wig - and who doesn’t!? - run, don’t walk, to @outfitterswig!
