This post is a little late cause I had to rest up. However, I need to let everyone know how much this community show blessed me. @goldenbeltartists Reflections: ART FREEDOM gave me the opportunity to have real conversation about the stories behind my art, my fellow artists, and what needs to happen for more opportunities for black artists to show their work, and holding the beautiful city of #Durham accountable for the diverse city it says it is. North Carolina is filled with talent across many platforms with endless perspectives to share. I personally would love to see more opportunities for this talent to shine and connect. Art of Freedom is open until the end of June., but don’t forget to visit the artists in residence as well. The stories told with vivid colors, textures, and interesting objects, will blow you mind! Submerge and be inspired! #juneteenth #artgallery #thirdfridaydurham #suportlocalartists #ncart #texture919 #colorfilleddurham #diverselife #somuchmorethenjustart #Iamafiberartist #mixedmedia #eclecticconversations
