when it was messy
who loved
without trying to fix

we just stayed seated
long enough
for the healing to begin

we pointed each other back to Him
again and again
and in that
we found something steady
something holy

I don’t have a lot of words for this weekend- being involved w/ @shelivesfreed
I am still processing a lot.

Jesus healed & delivered.
I knew He would but it’s one thing to know it & another thing to see Him do it thru you & in you & all around you.

I’ve had my reservations.
I’ve made an effort for years not to put time into something if it isn’t 100% real.
That’s been a struggle in itself but I’ve learned how crippling it can be to hide behind a facade.
Sometimes the church is the absolute best at this.

What I’ve learned-
Not all woman’s ministry is the same.
Not all church is the same.
Not all Christians are the same.
If it’s not the real Jesus I don’t want it.
If it’s full of judgment & religion I don’t want it.
If it’s a bunch of rules I have to blindly follow I don’t want it.

This ministry is not that.
It’s safe & it’s real.
It’s pure & it’s full of the goodness of God.
It’s not about doing the right things- it’s about knowing the right MAN who will transform everything about you.
It’s not about saying the right thing- it’s about saying & exposing what’s deep inside, that you’ve never felt safe expressing before, so that the healing can permeate every part of your being.
This community is safe.
It’s a safe place for every type of pain & trauma.
No one is scared of your mess.
We’ve all had our own demons to fight & have learned the freedom that comes thru intimacy w/ the Father, community, & REALNESS.
I am so honored & blessed to be apart of @shelivesfreed

Thank you @realbrittanydawn & @freedomwriterariel for saying yes to the heart of Jesus for woman.
You are sowing seeds that will reap 100 fold. 🌾

Life lately & my latest thoughts:

- I genuinely believe I am surrounded by some of the most incredible women on the planet. My heart could burst thinking about how I’ve been loved so well and so selflessly poured into. Being loved so well has changed me in all the best ways and I am just so thankful
- @paxandbeneficia has the best coffee I’ve ever tasted
- My heart is currently caught in the tension of being overwhelmed by transition but so expectant for what’s to come. Here in this place, I find myself consumed by peace that makes no sense. I love resting in the knowledge of who He is
- Being around the table with good food, good people & good conversation is everything
- My feminine dress obsession is still very much a thing and it brings me so much joy
- Creating for @brandandbeloved has me so artistically inspired lately!
- I keep getting so rocked by the reality of the gospel. Jesus paid it allllll and in Him is everything we need. He is truly the dream 🍷🍞 Ugh, I weep

What a wild ride 25 has been.

I was rid of shame and the fear of how messy I really am as a person.

I stopped hiding in plain sight/public places and started being seen in the private and personal space.
Truly seen by a few people who love me for real and that I love too.

I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
