Waddle game = leveled up! 💛✨☀️🪿

This is Millie’s very first version of her prosthetic. The goal is to teach her to get used to wearing something in that leg and figure out how she bears her weight. She will have several more iterations in order to correct her limb difference. Stay tuned for her updates!

Hi, Morgan here.
We’ve (@freetobevt) been a quiet on social media yesterday and today. I went in for surgery yesterday to remove (likely) endometriosis cysts. Women’s health is no joke.

But just like we treat all of the rescues here with the highest medical care needs for them, I needed to do the same.

Lauren (@la._.greene) is holding down the fort this weekend. It doesn’t help that we got dumped on with some snow this morning either, & possible Monday too!!??? She is out putting on prosthetics, lugging 5 gallon buckets of water, shoveling snow, bringing out food & meds, doing red light therapy, and giving so much love and attention to the residents. And mind you, checking on me too. ❤️

So please, please drop Lauren some love & encouraging words- she deserves it.

We have had a fantastic #duckducktues this week with many cute and silly ducks. The highlights are quite call duck heavy so be prepared for a cuteness overload ☺️🦆

Check out these amazing accounts and give them some love ❤️

We wanted to share an amazing success story with you this week: Rosie from @freetobevt and her prosthetic ❤️‍🩹 she is finally able to stand up on her own and walk with it! Way to go, girl 🤗

For those of you who are looking to get more ducks (or just get started), we wanted to bring your attention to @waterfowlrescue they have always a bunch of ducks up for adoption. Their newest ones are Dax & Drew. If you are not able to adopt, please consider donating as they have a lot of vet bills to cover ❤️‍🩹🦆

That's it for this week. See y'all next time! 🤗

I realized I haven't yet introduced each of our newest family members!
📣Please allow me to formally present...
•Miss Kiki, named after precious Kiki from @spoiledrottenranch
•Miss Abby, named for darling Abby of @freetobevt
& last, but not least,
•little Mr. Peanut
All 3 babies are still awaiting the big move to the main chicken house. Mama Betty is in a pen next to her adopted babies since she started getting a wee bit testy with them at times. Reintegration for Betty has been tricky with her sister, Little, fighting her through the partitions we set up in the chickens' run area. So, we'll try, try again. 🙏 For now, we're focusing on getting Betty back to her pre-broody weight. She's eating well now & is even back to laying.

WoooWHEE!! I love me a good @chewy sale!!! Four bags o' duck food are on their way!! (Now, hopefully @fedex doesn't deliver the bags with holes in them, no boxes, & then leaves them in a wet spot in our driveway rather than on our covered front porch. 🤦‍♀️🤬)
❤ Thank you, @freetobevt for the heads-up or I'd have missed it!!

Who says we can’t nap before noon? Jack and Cava are checking out their new views while the rest of the bachelor flock are showing off their best snooze spots. #ducksofinstagram #saturdayvibes #snooze #newfriends

A little bit of doggie enrichment goes a long way. Kayda Kibbles here is a blind double Merle Aussie but that doesn’t stop her as she is such a confident girl. She certainly shows off during these sniff walks with different textures and obstacles! #dogsofinstagram #blind #doublemerle #saturday
