A look back at Lii Vway di la Tayaen’d Niikinaahk: Voices of the Homeland, our 2026 MMF Michif Language Summit! 💜

This August, we came together to celebrate Michif and share knowledge about the work being done to strengthen the language for future generations.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this gathering possible.

A special thank you to @frenchaccentdesign for their work in event planning and design, @deltahotelswinnipeg for their wonderful hospitality and support throughout the Summit, and @encore.canada for their excellent technical support.

And thank you to @clubcreateofficial for putting together this wonderful recap video and capturing the spirit of the Summit!

A ceremony moment we won’t be forgetting anytime soon! 🤍

Jade & Jacky’s celebration transformed Novella into a romantic, timeless space with a surrounding drapery, mirrored aisle, soft white florals, and the most beautiful details throughout.
