The room reveal and the details, always two of my favourite parts. There’s something so special about seeing all the little decisions come together and then watching our clients take it all in for the first time.

Seeing this colour combination come to life in the space was so much fun. It felt warm and cozy, but still had so much personality. From the textures to the little finishing touches, there was something to notice everywhere you looked.

ROOTED IN LOVE
Mia & Carter

Inspired by the floral beadwork Carter created for his vest, the palette and design details brought his Métis heritage into the heart of the celebration. Soft blue, rich burgundy and peach unfolded against the warm timber of Buffalo Crossing, with golden light across the water.

Honouring Mia’s French roots and Carter’s Métis heritage, the day reflected their shared, down-to-earth spirit; warm, welcoming and deeply personal.

We cannot wait to show you more detail shots, the colour combo is going to stay with me for a while!

A look back at Lii Vway di la Tayaen’d Niikinaahk: Voices of the Homeland, our 2026 MMF Michif Language Summit! 💜

This August, we came together to celebrate Michif and share knowledge about the work being done to strengthen the language for future generations.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this gathering possible.

Tis the spooky season

And in the Jammu household, this is when our house really comes alive.

Getting ready for Halloween with the kids is something that makes me so excited every year. There’s something about the change of season, the cooler days, the darker evenings, and that little shift in pace,that I look forward to so much.

Last year, I put a vote on my stories asking which Hogwarts class we should do and transform our space for Thanksgiving and Potions won.

So naturally, we went all in.

It took us three days to transform every nook and cranny for our friends and family. Three days of making, decorating, moving things around, adding one more little detail… and creating a bit of magic for the kids.

Because for me, that’s what this season is really about making our home feel magical and creating the kind of memories I hope they’ll remember when they’re older.

Omg, this was the highlight of Florence for me… maybe from the whole trip… maybe a life highlight lol

If you know me, you know I love pasta, I love making pasta, I love drinking wine… and I just really love grandmas. So stepping into this residence and experiencing it all felt weirdly emotional, like it was so close to my heart.

I’ve always had a bit of an old soul… I think I’m really rocking the Nonna look and lifestyle.

Maybe I was born in the wrong generation and the wrong country.

In December 2025, I was on a train in Ireland with my mom and daughter, visiting my sister. My sister and I had a stack of Vogue magazines, and I had scissors, tape and a scrapbook.

No Pinterest. No saving posts. Just flipping through pages and ripping out whatever caught my eye.

One of the pages I saved was this floral combination. I had absolutely no idea where or when I would use it,I just knew I loved it.

Fast forward to Tavleen & Harry’s wedding. 🤍

This little torn-out magazine page became one of our starting points. We took the feeling and floral combination I had saved, mixed it with Tavleen & Harry’s event palette, and then worked with @floralfixx to completely make it our own.

And voilà.

There’s something I love so much about seeing where an idea actually began, especially when it starts months earlier, on a train in Ireland, with a pair of scissors and a Vogue Magazine!

Lately, we’ve been making a conscious effort to step away from the endless Pinterest scroll when we’re designing.

And honestly, it’s been one of my favourite creative discoveries, learning to look elsewhere, outside of the event world, and find inspiration from a completely different perspective.

There is SO much incredible inspiration out there that has absolutely nothing to do with weddings or events. Branding, graphic design, architecture, fashion, interiors… even concepts from insanely talented designers that may have never actually seen the light of day.

Taking those ideas and figuring out how they can translate into an event — the graphics, colours, textures, details and overall feeling — has completely changed the way I look at design.

Am I completely there? Oh no 😂 I’m definitely still looking at current event trends and sprinkling them in where they make sense. But I’m spending a lot more time listening to the client, figuring out what actually feels like them, and then doing the research to find inspiration in places we maybe wouldn’t have looked before.

And I think that’s the part I love the most.

The research. The rabbit holes. Finding that one random reference that suddenly makes everything click.

Less “what are people doing right now?” and a lot more “what can we find that feels completely right for this person?”

Yeah, I’ve seen pretty much everything on a dance floor…

But this? Here, hold my drink. 🫣🤯😂

I couldn’t help posting Tavleen and Harry’s reception sneak peeks, it was NOT one to be missed. Hidden bars, speakeasy rooms, custom merch, a dance floor that got progressively more unhinged…. a photographers dream. 😍

One of my favourite moments of the night came during Harry’s speech, when he told Tav:

“I finally get to call my best friend my wife.” 🥹❤️

From best friends to husband and wife, and then immediately throwing each other around on the dance floor 😂
