MEN’S RACE — ROUND 2

TELO. ABSOLUTE CHAOS.

New contenders showed up.
The attacks started early.
Breakaways formed.
The front of the race was constantly being shaken up.

Nobody was safe.

As the laps came down, one rider finally broke clear and went Solo! holding the gap all the way to the finish to take the win!

Behind him? A battle for the podium!

Three riders came flying into the line separated by inches.
It came down to the smallest of margins.

The results are in.
The points have been updated.

Thank you, @ulockmob 💫 Week 5. That’s a wrap. Three summers of 20 years. Thousands of photos later, I can honestly say this “summer series” has changed the way I shoot.

Every July, I come back thinking I know exactly what I’m looking for. Every July, it humbles me. It reminds me that the photograph isn’t waiting for me. It’s earned through patience, repetition, and showing up when nothing remarkable seems to be happening until, suddenly. BOOM.

That’s what this place has given me. Not just photographs, but discipline. An eye. A reason to keep chasing something I still can’t quite catch.

A lot of people pass through. They catch a night or two and move on. I wanted something different. I wanted to build a relationship with this place. To return enough times that the work stopped feeling like coverage and started feeling like memory. I hope that’s visible in these photographs.

Thank you to everyone at @ulockmob for trusting me with that space.
