What does success look like for you in this season of your business? Because I’m learning that the answer doesn’t have to stay the same forever. I’ll start 👇🏻 Success right now looks like… ✅ My bills are paid. ✅ I have the flexibility to support my man and my daughter whenever the heckkk I want. ✅ I feel clear and confident in my messaging + offers. ✅ I’m working with clients I genuinely enjoy. ✅ I have space in my life to actually enjoy the business I’ve built. It’s not about hitting a revenue goal or building the biggest business possible. It’s about building a business that supports my family. Your turn 👉🏻 What does success look like for YOU right now? ▶️ EP. 7 of On Purpose Marketing is available now on Spotify, Apple and YouTube!

Hello! My name is Lisa Pease and I am the lead brand designer and creative director behind Design Flock Studio, bringing 15+ years of expertise helping brands soar and stand the test of time. My work is not just beautiful. It is strategic, intentional, and built to last. Along with running the day to day operations of DFS I am also a creative partner to Freshly Brewed Copy @freshlybrewedcopy and the brand and graphic design partner to Duluth Aging Support, helping them tell their visual story and deepen their community impact through web, social, and print. For me, design is never just aesthetics. It is a powerful tool for building trust, strengthening engagement, and making resources accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. I believe deeply in co-creation. When working with me, I make a point to understand clearly the vision you want to bring to life and the problem you are trying to solve, then visually create the needed assets in true partnership with you. Additional skills and interests I’ve got in my back pocket include, coaching youth basketball, art directing photoshoots, and continuing being an artist at my core. If you’re looking for a creative partner I would love to chat and learn more! You can reach me at lisa@designflockstudio.com or shoot me a DM.

I’ll be the first to admit, outsourcing your website copy isn’t a small investment. But it is one with serious after-value for your business. Case in point, a recent client told me she’s STILL pulling lines from the Brand Alignment Guide we created together as part of her website copy project to confidently talk about her mindset coaching business…one year later. If that's not the goal, I don't know what is. When we partner together, you walk away with a website that fuels your business further AND words you can easily carry with you into sales calls, networking events, or, in the case of my client, an impromptu conversation inside of an Apple store that turned into a lead when she least expected it (all because she already had the words in her back pocket). Ready to stop second-guessing how you talk about your business and write the next chapter of your story? There's no time like the present to go all in.

When @freshlybrewedcopy suggested that we come together to create a Minnesota proud texture for today’s Texture Thursday, I said say less! We love this beautiful state and we are proud to be apart of such a caring community that helps each other and stands up for each other in hard times 🤎 #texturethursday #minnesota

Texture Thursday in collab with @freshlybrewedcopy Wanted to do a really cozy warm texture with browns and deep reds. These are just for fun but we always create brand patterns and textures for our custom brand clients because it’s so helpful to have a unique brand piece to use in marketing, social graphics, website and more. Let me know what you think of the pattern! 👇🏻 #brandingyourbusiness #intentionalbranding #businessesbranding #brandingstudio #branddesigner

This month marks our fifth year in business (nobody pinch me), and honestly, I’m not sure what’s more impressive: hitting this milestone or getting Todd to be a good sport and pose for this shot 😉 All kidding aside, I’m endlessly grateful for the talented business owners who’ve trusted this small business with their big dreams, workships that have turned into friendships, and the supportive business community that continues to inspire us to keep going. If I had to sum up my 5 biggest takeaways from growing this business over the past few years, it really comes down to: 1. Having faith in the process 2. Keeping your word (and overdelivering in unexpected ways) 3. Building meaningful relationships 4. Creating more than you compare 5. Staying curious, humble, and flexible 6. Making time to fill up your cup 7. Embracing the ebbs and flows Okay, that was technically 7…so you know, I was serious about the overdelivering part 🙌🏼 . . . 📸: @lovdahlphotography

Friday feels like the perfect moment to take a break and share the latest website from the brew queue 🤌🏼 After months of strategizing, writing, and planning, I’m excited to finally reveal the NEW site for @hemmalivingmn! Inspired by the Swedish concept of feeling at home, it was so rewarding to translate Kelly’s vision for designing deeply personal spaces that make you want to cozy up, enjoy a fika (that’s Swedish for a coffee break), and stay a little longer ☕️ Built on the Lita Grey template from @tonicsiteshop and crafted in collaboration with @frenchpresscreative, this site is a true reflection of *just* how custom a website template can feel when strategy, thoughtful storytelling, and beautiful design work together in harmony. Ready to finally give your website some TLC in the new year? The books for 2026 are officially open so get in touch to save your spot before it fills up 💌 . . . Most of you are probably used to seeing my face around here, but Freshly Brewed Copy wouldn’t be where it is today without my husband and co-owner, Todd. With decades of business management experience, an uncanny ability to spot inefficiencies (guilty as charged 🙋‍♀️), and a growth mindset that constantly pushes us to find new ways to improve our client experience, Todd is the calm, steady presence who helps me keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. And let's be real, if not for him, I'm pretty sure my wireless mouse and keyboard would never be charged overnight (IYKYK) 😉 So, I figured it was time to shed some spotlight on the best business and life partner I could have ever asked for. . . . 📸: @lovdahlphotography
