A Legacy Worth Protecting. A Paradise Worth Sharing. 🦅🌴 Right in the heart of St. Petersburg lies a beautiful piece of wild Florida with a story that spans generations. Welcome to Boyd Hill Nature Preserve! 🐢🌳 Decades ago, people recognized the importance of protecting this incredible place. Today, we get to walk its trails, experience its wildlife, and witness the beauty of God’s creation because of those who came before us. 📖 Psalm 145:4 — “One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.” That verse perfectly captures why Paradise In Florida means so much to me. ❤️ This journey is about more than exploring beautiful places. It’s about sharing their stories, celebrating God’s incredible creation, and inspiring future generations to appreciate and protect what we’ve been blessed with. The people before us helped preserve this paradise for us. Now it’s our turn to pass it on. 🙏🌎 🌴 Follow @ParadiseInFlorida as we continue exploring Florida’s hidden beauty, wildlife, history, and the incredible works of our Creator. 📍 Boyd Hill Nature Preserve | St. Petersburg, Florida Find & Follow Paradise! 🌅 #ParadiseInFlorida #BoydHillNaturePreserve #StPetersburgFL #WildFlorida #FloridaNature FloridaWildlife FloridaConservation GodsCreation Psalm1454 ExploreFlorida FaithAndNature

🎃 PUMPKINS, PLAYDATES & PURE CHAOS (the fun kind, obviously). 🍂 St. Pete parents, our weekend calendar is looking a little ridiculous… in the BEST way. And apparently, October has decided we’re all going to be VERY busy. 😂 We’ve got pumpkin patches on the Pier, giant bubbles, messy play adventures, Halloween treat trails, fall festivals, outdoor markets, and even a Scooby-Doo movie night! 👻 A few things I’m especially excited about this weekend: 🎨 Painting the giant NOMADstudio Art Bus with Wonder Studio and friends! 🫧 Giant bubbles and creative chaos with Bubble Wise and Rooted in Play! 🎃 ALL the fall festivities at Boyd Hill, Spa Beach, and the St. Pete Pier! 🍬 A spooky (but not TOO spooky) treat trail at Patti Johnson Farm! 🛍️ Our favorite local markets are back, and my wallet is already nervous. And the best part? SO many of these activities are completely FREE! 🙌 Whether you’re feeling ambitious enough to hit three events before nap time or just want ONE solid reason to get everyone dressed and out the door, I’ve got you covered. 📌 SAVE this guide for when someone inevitably asks, “What are we doing this weekend?” 💌 SHARE it with your favorite parent friend who is always down for an adventure. 👇 TELL ME: Are you a pack-the-weekend-with-adventures family or a one-outing-and-back-home-by-lunch family? 📍 St. Pete + Pinellas County 🗓️ October 9–11, 2026 Follow @sunshinecitywithkids for more family-friendly fun around St. Pete and Tampa Bay! #StPeteWithKids #StPeteEvents #StPeteMoms #TampaBayKids StPeteWeekend FamilyFunTampaBay StPeteFlorida

We’re counting down to the Print Party at the Preserve by putting the spotlight on our incredible VIPs “Very Inky Printmakers”! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing you to the local print artists who will be offering free demos and activities. Be sure to follow them to see more about their work and what they’re bringing to the PRINT PARTY💥 FIRST UP 👀 Ry Mccullough of Standard Action Press! @rymcculloughstudio is an artist, printmaker, and educator, teaching in the Department of Art + Design at University of Tampa. At the Print Party, Ry will be demonstrating puzzle block relief printing! Puzzle block printmaking (also called jigsaw printmaking) is a technique where an artist carves a single block of linoleum or wood, cuts it apart into separate interlocking pieces, inks each piece with a different color, and reassembles them like a puzzle to print a multi-colored image in a single pass. See this magic in action, and much more on Saturday, November, 14th from 11:00am to 4:00pm! 📍 Boyd Hill Nature Preserve 🎟️ Free & family-friendly The PRINT PARTY AT THE PRESERVE is a free, one-day celebration of all things print. Presented by @printstpete @stpeteparksrec and @friendsofboydhill with grant support from @creativepinellas and @visitspc For more information about “Art Everywhere”, follow Creative Pinellas and Visit St. Pete Clearwater. 📸: @becktastic at the 2024 inaugural Print Party at the Preserve 🖨️ design by @hiheididesign

Here’s what’s new in St. Pete this week! Comment “Scoop” and we’ll send you a link to read the free newsletter! Spooky Island Market is this Saturday, October 10, 4-10 PM at St. Petersburg Distillery (800 31st St. S). Admission is free, parking is easy, and kids & pets are welcome. Last year’s market drew 5,000+ people. This year brings 80+ vendors, a pumpkin patch from Lida’s Jungle, ghost tours of the distillery and a free Halloween walk-through. Zee’s BBQ is selling a Cowboy Souvenir Bucket Meal, and NGOT Bakery has a one-night-only treat. The $56 VIP upgrade adds a VIP passport for a Zee’s “Brains bowl,” matcha or whisk, pumpkin to paint, mystery tote, and access to the speakeasy bar. You can enter our giveaway to win a pair of VIP tickets over on our Instagram here! We’ll be there selling Sunny St. Pete merch, so stop by if you’ve been coveting a sweatshirt but didn’t want to pay shipping! Lasso yourself some BOGO VIP tickets right now over at the link in bio for @ritualgroundscafe We’ve officially finished our tenth dinner club and we just hit an amazing milestone: Sunny St. Pete has sent over a thousand people out to dinner! Can you believe that? For those of you who are new here and might not know about the concept, here’s the gist: You fill out a quick questionnaire about yourself, we match you up with 5 other people based on your answers, we handle all the logistics and reservations, and you just show up. After dinner, your table goes to a casual afterparty nearby to join up with all the other tables. We have some super exciting new afterparty locations that I’m so jazzed about, so if you’ve been thinking about coming out, I highly recommend you try it out! This Thursday’s dinner is sold out already, but next week’s 30s & 40s dinner still has open seats! In honor of 10 dinner clubs and 1,000 people, you can use the discount code TENTH for $5 off next week’s dinner! Comment DINNER and I’ll send you a link to book!   ❝ Far exceeded expectations. I genuinely think we made new friends last night, and we are already planning another get together. ❝   - Pete T. Do you love scary movies? Or do you get so scared by them that you need to watch them
