We are a few posts behind, but last weekend Cardi and I competed at Midwest Regionals in St. Louis MO under Janet Edwards in the level 2s. Everything was going great until I called off way too early in the call off scenario. We didn’t pass, but because of Regionals being tournament style, we placed 3rd in the level 2s.
Fast forward to this weekend, and a judging change, we competed at Shogun WDC in Quakertown PA - under Janet Edwards. Cardi earned the first leg to her PSA2 and second place on Saturday, High Protection for the weekend and Decoy’s Choice Dog.
A big thank you to everyone who has helped me and Cardi along the way, especially to my club @oldgloryworkingdogs , Megan & Jeremy, Kelsey, Christina, Adrian, Loren and my GWDA friends. And to my biggest supporter, Chesley.
Thank you to @kultured_k9s and all of Shogun WDC for hosting a great trial (first time we have been this far east), all of the decoys for keeping my girl safe @decoy_murph @ajdogtrainer @joe_pecker @akela_k9_services @jensenbitesback , to @trevisonedogs for being one hell of a steward, and to @nellosgirl for the fair and challenging scenarios. #girlpower 💪🏼

When did Spruce get taller than Maple? Can we please go back to him being a baby? I’m not ready for this

We had the HONOR of joining @friggnfreya for a walk and swim today. Der actually convinced Maple swimming was fun, but Spruce wasn’t convinced.
