Last night’s annual All Black Attire fashion show was a total blast! Presented by @rtiammoody and hosted in @martinpatrick3’s shared alleyway with @hewinghotel, the show featured a gothic western vibe with the latest men’s and women’s luxury fashion collections from @martinpatrick3, styled to perfection. It also gave me the chance to wear this vintage western fringed skirt from @richardaflowers’s ‘90s-era club kid wardrobe.

Stepping into the holiday spirit with a touch of nostalgia! 🎁✨

My wedding dress from December 2019 found new life thanks to the incredible talent of @frika_lib, friend and a local Twin Cities designer. He magically transformed it into a pair of stunning holiday pants, preserving the memories with hand-stitched buttons and the elegance of my gown. 😍👖 Victor, your artistry knows no bounds—thank you for this unique, wearable masterpiece! ❄️🥂

This past weekend I was honored to be invited as a special guest for the BHM MN Fashion Exhibition at the MN State Capitol presented by Porte Model and Talent Agency.

I left the event feeling so inspired. These designers shared their stories and knowledge of fashion, designing, life challenges. It was a beautiful thing to witness. To be surrounded by incredible and creative humans, which I have no doubt will go far in life as they continue to chase their dreams!

Thank you @msvanessalawson of @porteagency for having me and for hosting such a wonderful event. 🙏🏽✨

Thank you to all the designers for sharing your work and sharing your passion for what you do. Truly inspirational. Here’s the list of the designers. Go check out their work and follow their journey to support if you’re not already:

2/12 ☑️🖤

In honor of the last day of BHM, enjoy this compilation of me doing black ass things 😂 these things include but aren’t limited to; talking about black excellence, celebrating black authors w my baby boy, enjoying black music, & getting the chance to teach my coworkers about the significance of black cinema.

I hope everyone had a great February, can’t wait to see what March has in store 🥳
