The new editions of @aliettedb’s acclaimed, award-winning #DominionOfTheFallen series are officially out tomorrow! All three novels are re-published by @awfulagent, with great new covers by Tara O’Shea: THE HOUSE OF SHATTERED WINGS, THE HOUSE OF BINDING THORNS and THE HOUSE OF SUNDERING FLAMES. Here’s the synopsis for the BSFA Award-winning first novel… Paris, turn of the century. The Great War between magical Houses of Fallen angels has devastated the city. The Seine runs black with ashes, the great monuments are blackened ruins, and the Houses still fight. It is a quiet war of alliances and intrigues played in worn drawing-rooms and once-elegant gardens. Silverspires, once the greatest House, is now nothing more than a minor player in those intrigues. Philippe, a young man from the colonies of the East, is caught harming a helpless Fallen, and held prisoner in House Silverspires. His path intersects with Isabelle, the naive Fallen he has wounded; Selene, the insecure Fallen head of the House; and Madeleine, a washed-out alchemist addicted to angel drugs. Together, they will either save the House, or cause its final, irrevocable Fall…

Coming March 10, 2026! I am so excited to share the covers for the rerelease of Aliette de Bodard's DOMINION OF THE FALLEN trilogy. Enter a Paris wrecked by magical cataclysms and the mysterious Houses that hold the city together in this beloved series of fallen angels, devious alchemists, and Vietnamese dragons… With a deliciously gothic atmosphere, queer characters from across the world, and high intrigue as the various Houses strive for control of the shattered city, the DOMINION OF THE FALLEN trilogy asks “what is the price of power and what is the price of peace?” Incisive, atmospheric, enchanting. These new editions of the award-winning trilogy feature bonus stories in the world of the Fallen and introductions by SFF luminaries Kate Elliott and Adrian Tchaikovsky. Perfect for longtime fans of the series and new readers alike! The new editions of the FULL TRILOGY are available for preorder now in ebook and paperback, wherever books are sold. Personally, I absolutely *loved* these books and the detailed world that Aliette created for us to visit. I am so looking forward to re-reading the trilogy. What an incredible gift to receive. @fringeelement mentioned this doll design earlier this year and I couldn’t have imagined the level of love, talent, and detail that went into creating this childhood dream of a doll. From the clothes, the winged liner, the nose ring, jewelry, skin tone and shaved sides… she is amazing. This is only SOME of wardrobe btw lol, including a replica of the outfit I wore to the #BlackPanther premiere, Thank you so much Tara! Detail for the products coming soon!
