Join our Amplify Her Songwriting Camp on 24–25 October in London for a weekend of collaboration, writing to briefs and bringing new music to life. Meet fellow songwriters, artists and producers, then present your tracks to our industry panel:

✨ Karis Jones — Founder of Frisson Music and senior music consultant at Bam Music, with sync placements for Apple, Pampers and McDonald’s.

✨ Benji Compston — Producer, composer and founder of Arko Music, with credits including BBC Film, Sony and Paramount+’s The Agency, plus collaborations with Simon Le Bon.

✨ Mark — founder of Dreamflow Music — Former head of BMG’s UK sync team, with projects including Disney, John Lewis, The Traitors and The Day of the Jackal.

Get feedback, build industry connections and discover where your music could go.

At our last camp, two producers were signed to the SKY music library! 🙌

With thanks to our partners Foot Locker’s Studios for All and PIRATE.COM for supporting our community.

Chapters - my first album for @frissonmusiclabel - is out today on all streaming platforms 🖤

The piano has been a constant companion to me for most of my life, but I’d somehow never found a way to compose a solo instrumental record. So a huge thank you to Karis at Frisson for the opportunity and encouragement to do so!

Recorded on my grandma’s piano, these songs explore feelings I can’t put into words. Writing them helped process the grief of losing my piano teacher, Liz, who brought so much inspiration, wisdom, fun, and support to my life.

Through these pieces, I’ve felt able to articulate the wilderness of being, with my favourite song - light on the bellies of gulls - about finding joy, freedom and belonging in the beauty of nature and simplicity.

I hope you enjoy 🌅

✨ This Weeks Mama Spotlight is on Karis Jones ✨

Karis has been working in production music for 10 years and recently launched her own boutique production music library, @frissonmusiclabel. She also heads up sync and licensing at a large UK independent publisher, JW Media Music.

A new mum, she’s learning how balance working in music and motherhood, and we’re delighted she’s decided to share her journey with us 💕
