Sometimes I go outside sigh and think, “ugh people”. Yesterday I went outside and I saw people and thought, “Aww, Life”. I gotta keep working on changing my perspective. It literally starts with you. 46 seconds of bliss. I didn’t post a 45 of the week yet! Will soon! Was busy living life and that’s a blessing 🫀✨

📢 📰 We have some news!

After 2.5 years in our current location, PLACE is moving into an iconic storefront in Bixby Knolls. Starting in June, just look for the giant blue foam finger mural on Long Beach Blvd. for your favorite community media arts collective and self-publishing studio ☝️😉💕

While we’re going to miss our Wrigley neighborhood, we’re excited for all that’s coming next, and we won’t be too far! Our new location at 3923 Long Beach Blvd. is nearly double the size of our current home and will allow us to host larger workshops, screenings, expand public programming, and provide dedicated meeting and workspace for our collective members, community organizations and mutual aid groups 🥳

🖨️Printing and events will continue as scheduled through the end of the month at our current location. Note that the last printmaking Monday will be tonight, May 18.

We will be closed to the public May 29 through June 12 as we get settled into our new home. Follow along and check our stories for open hours updates.

Last but not least, thank you to all our Wrigley neighbors who made us feel so welcome on Pacific Ave. over the last few years 🙏🥹Can’t wait to see you all up the road at our new PLACE! ❤️‍🔥
