Thanks for coming to my pop up.

First of all, Huge thanks to @isay__yusei for curating and shipping these coffees from Copenhagen, Denmark.

And to @coffeecollectif @aprilcoffeecph and @lacabracoffee thank you for roasting incredible coffees and continuing to push the coffee industry forward. It was a privilege to share your coffees here in Melbourne.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who came by, shared coffees from Danish roasters, and supported us.

I wanted this pop-up to be my little way of giving something back before I leave.

I’m taking a lot of memories, lessons, and inspiration with me.

Also to @onlycoffeeproject

BEVERAGE ARCHIVE 002
SUMMER CRUSH

This drink was created for CUPPING LABO POP UP in Melbourne in October 2025.

We often describe coffee through the names of other things.

For Summer Crush, I wanted to turn that language around.

Instead of beginning with coffee and finding familiar flavours inside it, I began with those flavours and asked whether they could lead back to the memory of coffee.

Not one particular Kenyan coffee. More the feeling of drinking a bright Kenyan filter over ice in summer which is cold, vivid and refreshing in a way that felt inseparable from the season.

The idea itself was simple, but developing it was slow.

I had to decide how far I could move away from coffee before the reference disappeared.

The name came easily. Summer had been part of the idea from the beginning, and the drink already felt like a concentrated memory of it.

What I still find interesting is that there is no coffee in it, yet the reference remains.

Not as a replica, but as something remembered.

This is Beverage Archive 002.

My three amazing friends brought this pop-up to life.
Great coffee, delicious desserts, and a welcoming atmosphere made it such a memorable experience. I even got the honor of having the very last slice of the matcha cheesecake✌️

Perfect Day with perfect friends, perfect wine, and the perfect movie.
Watching everyone completely immersed in the film, staying through the end credits, and then sharing our thoughts together afterwards… that was my favorite part.
