Running a Jewelry School, Delivering Custom Jewelry, Creating a Human, and still making sure to spend time with my loved ones.

Also @calmcnamara is doing an excellent job as my partner in all those things, because I couldn't do it ALL solo.

@qveenherby has been the main soundtrack for this season of life, looking forward to seeing her in August 😍😬

But first - July, July.

2025 was the year my faith found its sound.

I curated a mix, and the message found its people. Parts of my story, woven into sound, reached 5 figure views and kept going.

Bookings. A testimony unfolding.

I also made time for some joy and fun because, necessary.

This isn’t just a recap. It’s a reminder of what happens when you surrender to divine timing and trust the process.

2026? More mixes. More moments. More of His grace showing up in unexpected ways.

Thank you for being here. For listening. For walking this journey with me.

May your new year be sacred. May you honor the season you’re in and trust what’s unfolding.

All for the Most High.
🙏🏽✨

Something you should know about me 👇

I LOVE to host. My cup runs over when I'm giving great suggestions for restaurants, planning day trips, and generally being a part of a group activity.

This year I'm planning some jewelry retreats here in our town.

Yes the school is in Stonington, yes I live in North Stonington, yes the big beach is in Rhode Island, and yes my favorite restaurant is in Mystic.

All my favorite things are less than 20 minutes apart in the south east shoreline corner of Connecticut and I want to share them with you.

I'm working on 2 different retreats one for *everyone* and one specifically for the independent jewelry business owner

Our general retreat will be organized around an introduction to beginners jewelry, where you'll work through my 5 projects for learning the foundations.

The jewelry specific retreat will involve intermediate and advanced techniques paired with intentional conversations about your businesses and how to create the best version of it.

Each morning we will wake up, have breakfast, and get to the studio for a project. Afternoons will be scattered with activities, outings, and discussions. Dinners will be had both out at some of our amazing restaurants and at more casually at the 6 bedroom historic farmhouse where you will all be staying (don't worry, there's AC)

I'm working on enlisting local artists and wellness purveyors to create unique experiences for our downtown, and will make myself available for Q&A all week long.

Each guest will have consultation to discuss their personal goals with me, so I can better cater the knowledge and experience for each person in the group as a whole.

While it's year one for this unnamed Jewelry Retreat, I have been hosting groups of 1-4 people through @marquisjewelryacademy for the last 4 years from all over the country. We've had students join us from all of the northeast and mid Atlantic, FL, TX, WA, and OR.

I've also personally traveled the country to participate in 1 week courses in many states for different skills.

TLDR: I want to find 6 people who want to travel this year and work on some new skills, eat, and laugh by the beach with me. Is that you?

Virgo Birthday Lady.

When I first got to know @fromemmy we were both employed by an awful employer in a no good work environment. It was one of those offices where you *needed* to bond with eachother to get through it.

Needless to say neither of us were applying our educations to work at these jobs we'd gotten to help pay the bills.

I can't recall if it's been 6 or 7 years now, we've moved on and taken more control over our paths. I'm thankful for her and our continuing friendship.

These shots and many others on our page are from Easter Sunday 2019, and I don't think any of us realized it was Easter until about halfway through.

Emiley has an awesome fiance Anthony and he often gives the assist on photography either to help others like me or to accompany Em's written work (see @fromemmy) This day, as many of our photoshoots happen here at EMD, my dear friend offered to play dress up in our designs and let us point the camera. Ant joined along as well as @calmcnamara so while we took an AMAZING beautiful stroll all around Old Town Alexandria on a quiet Sunday morning they snapped photos and I adjusted necklaces and details.

Something I appreciate about doing a shoot with a close friend is that it gets added into the memory bank of all the things we've done together, rather than just another day of work. I spent a lot of time this morning flipping through the photos of her on my phone birthdays, halloweens, thanksgivings...the many outtakes of laughter.

Don't let this stoic goddess fool you, she has a smile and laugh that will totally draw you in. I hope to watch her grow and evolve for decades more, especially along the lines of her creativity and her career. I wont even get started on the a++ energy surrounding her, because there's a character limit.

Anyways, please wish this lovely lady a happy birthday with me, follow along with her writings, and always support your friends.
