Who says hanging baskets are just for flowers?

Our friends at @FromSeedtoSpoon are giving their summer baskets a fresh start for fall with peas and Bright Lights Swiss chard planted in Smart Pot NoCoco Liners.

NoCoco Liners turn traditional wire hanging baskets into breathable fabric growing containers, giving gardeners an easy way to grow flowers, herbs, vegetables, and more without a traditional coco liner. In this case, they’re putting those baskets right back to work for a fall edible garden 🥬

One 15-Gallon Smart Pot and a whole lot of excited little gardeners 🥔

Dale and Carrie (@FromSeedtoSpoon) harvested their first potatoes of the year with the kids, and one Smart Pot grew enough to feed the whole family dinner with leftovers for the next day!

They dumped the Smart Pot into their garden cart and let the kids dig through the soil for every last potato. Getting kids involved in planting, harvesting, washing, and eating what they grow is one of the best ways to keep them interested in the garden.

Looking for tips to use in your own garden? Join Dale and Carrie LIVE tomorrow, Tuesday, June 23 at 12 PM CST on their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@FromSeedtoSpoon

You don’t need a big backyard or a perfect garden setup to start growing your own food. A sunny patio, porch, balcony, driveway, or even a spot by a window can be enough to grow tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, basil, squash, herbs, and so much more!

That’s one of the best parts about growing in Smart Pots. You can start where you are, use the space you have, and still grow food you’ll actually be excited to pick and eat.

Looking for more gardening tips like this?

Our friends Carrie and Dale from @FromSeedtoSpoon are going LIVE today at 12 PM CST on YouTube for “Fresh From the Garden: Our Favorite Ways to Use Summer Harvests!”

They’ll be talking about what they’re harvesting right now, their favorite ways to use summer produce, and answering garden questions along the way.

Our friends at @FromSeedtoSpoon found a new, quick, and easy way to know exactly how to space your seeds when sowing in a Smart Pot!

From the creators of the Seeding Square, check out the new Seeding Circle 🌱⭕️

It’s the perfect size for a 7-Gallon Smart Pot and takes the guesswork out of spacing your seeds. Just place it in your Smart Pot, follow the spacing guide, and start sowing. The Seeding Circle is simple, helpful, and makes container gardening feel a whole lot easier.

What do seeding squares and Bowser from The Super Mario Galaxy Movie have in common? They both live in my head rent free because of my children!

The radishes are perfectly spaced, and now I feel on top of the world! I cannot wait to see our carrots, lettuce, turnips, spinach and other veggies sprout!

No tomato should grow alone this season 🍅🌱

Carrie from @FromSeedtoSpoon is showing a simple way to support healthier tomatoes by direct sowing companion plants right around them.

Basil, marigolds, dill, and nasturtium are all easy to grow from seed, and each one brings something useful to the garden, from attracting beneficial insects to helping keep pest pressure in check. It’s a simple move, but it can make a big difference in a tomato bed.

Dale & Carrie are always finding smart ways to grow more with the space they have, and this weekend’s garden setup was a good one 🌱

Using cattle panels paired with Smart Pot Raised Bed Planters, they added a ton of extra growing space and made the most of their garden in a really practical way. It’s simple, clever, and the kind of idea that makes you want to get out in the yard and start building.

They’ll be live tomorrow at noon CST on their YouTube channel sharing more garden tips, walking through what they’ve been working on, and answering questions live. If you’ve already got questions about your garden this season, jump in and ask them in the comments.
