What you eat matters when you are recovering.

Two great starting points: the Mediterranean and paleo approaches. Both center on whole, anti-inflammatory foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and quality protein.

Mediterranean leans on seafood and healthy fats like olive oil, with less red meat. Paleo skips grains and legumes and sticks to what our ancestors ate before modern agriculture.

The research backs the direction. A recent meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials state that the Mediterranean diet reduces inflammation in adults, and both Mediterranean and paleo patterns are associated with lower inflammatory and oxidative stress markers!

Not sure where to start? Start with this!

The last 2 years being part of Rehab2Performance have truly changed the trajectory of how I practice and how I’ve built myself as a chiropractor. ✨

From rethinking movement to challenging the “why” behind what we do, R2P pushed me to think outside the box, sharpen my craft, and grow not just as a chiropractor, but also as an educator. It’s shaped how I teach my patients and how I mentor other chiropractors.

Serving as a rep and later president was an absolute honor. I’ve made lifelong connections in this industry and gained lessons I’ll carry into every adjustment, rehab plan, and conversation moving forward.

Forever grateful for the last two years. Excited to keep passing it on. 🤍
