POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My heart is still full from The Lost Songs. To everyone who showed up, listened closely, shared the moment, and held the space - thank you. Your presence turned these songs into something bigger than the stories that shaped them.

Creating is one thing. Sharing it with you is everything. Huge thanks to all my wonderful friends and musicians for helping to create such a beautiful night.

We’ll be returning to the Mick Lally Theatre on Saturday April 18th to have another listen and to perform live the song you voted for.

Hopefully we’ll see you there.

@john_conneely_inc and Conor Moloney presented @funeral_for_ashes in The Printworks this year!

As part of our @pacesetters.eu involvement, funeral for ashes was built as a testament to creating sustainable, yet impactful art exhibits in 2025.

It was one of the highlights of our free admission exhibits, and mesmerizing to stand in!

A big congratulations to everyone who helped make Funeral For Ashes a hit at #GIAF25!

That’s a wrap on GIAF25 — what a brilliant edition it’s been! ✨
So proud to have been part of this year’s Galway International Arts Festival and to witness such powerful, ambitious work across the city.

Highlights from my last weekend in Galway:

🔥 David Mach’s Burning Down the House — an epic, cathedral-filling force @davidmachra

🪾 Funeral for Ashes by Conor Maloney & John Conneely — haunting, poetic, unforgettable @funeral_for_ashes

🔮 Erin Lawlor’s Divining — pure painterly energy in motion @theerinlawlor

Grateful for the inspiring visual art programme @galwayintarts

Congrats Paul, John and all @galwayintarts
Such a joy to have The Cave @thtgalway for the festival @abbeytheatredublin. Saw so much incredible work across the week in Galway. Congrats all. Reminder again of the importance of the arts and the public’s hunger for it. It makes a better world. Onwards all…

Ireland has the lowest woodlands coverage in all of Europe by a huge margin. There is a 10:1 ratio between non-native spruce tree plantations, biohazard areas which which acidify soil and rivers, and native forests which act as habitats for Irish wildlife.

This Irish Times feature covers our upcoming exhibition, and notes the connection between Coillte’s mismanagement of our forests and the ecological disaster unfolding throughout the Irish landscape today.
