POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Gates of Autumn has been out for two weeks now. I just wanted to take a second to say thank you to everyone who’s listened, shared it, or let this song find a place in their day 🥹

This is a special post highlighting the amazing humans that worked on this song. Huge thank you to @kristophermacfarlane and @ronjoehynes for keeping everything grounded. Working with both of you on this album was an absolute dream. Thank you to @freyamilliken for lending your voice. You brought warmth and emotion that I don’t think the song would’ve had otherwise. Final thank you to @chrisfnkirby. You embody the word “artist” to the fullest extent and I’m so grateful we could make this record together!

I never could’ve imagined that my life and music would lead me to cross paths with so many incredibly talented people. I’m genuinely grateful for every single person who has believed in my songs and helped bring them to life.

Keep streaming and sharing - more coming soon 🍁

Out everywhere today. “Quicksand” was written on the last day of a @funkislandlab and @brilliantlabslaboscreatifs songwriting camp at the @saltytowersnb in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick with my good friend @chrisfnkirby and a student participant @clairablanchardmusic

I love how this one came together seamlessly in the @thesonictemple studio with @geoffarsenault creating all that texture, @ronjoehynes with the heartbeat, and @parachutemastering working magic as always. Big team effort on this one and I couldn’t be more proud. Hope you enjoy.

Many of you know I don’t really get on stage anymore, so when Chris and Vic called about this show and asked if I’d do it, I surprised myself by saying yes.

My ’90s childhood was shaped by some of the most iconic, brave, and inspiring women songwriters of all time. Lilith Fair wasn’t just music — it was women telling their stories, taking up space, and giving permission to others to do the same. If you haven’t seen the documentary, do yourself a favour and watch it!

Because of my family, I grew up listening to the women artists who stood on those stages, and because of them, was inspired to start writing songs.

This show happens at Sanctuary Arts Centre for International Women’s Day, which feels especially meaningful. We’ll be honouring the songs and artists of Lilith Fair — not just as covers, but as a thank you.

💜 Donations will go to Adsum House, a women’s shelter in Halifax.
💜 Proceeds from the show will support Funk Island Lab Music Society, a non-profit creating powerful music education experiences — connecting professional songwriters, emerging artists, and youth across Atlantic Canada.

I’d love for you to be there as we bring these songs to life with a full, beautiful band! Now which songs do you think I’m singing?! ❤️🙌🏼 Surprise!!!

Out of Sight is now available on all streaming platforms!! (Link in my bio) This was such an amazing experience and I have so many people I need to tell you about :). First of all, this song was written at a @funkislandlab , @brilliantlabslaboscreatifs song camp, it was a cowrite between @clairablanchardmusic , @jessie.jay.__ , @orangeterra and I, this song is about leaving home for the first time and it has so much personal meaning us all. It was produced by the incredible @chrisfnkirby partially at @fangrecording and also in his own studio, he put together all of the amazing musicians playing on this track (all tagged in the photos). I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported me or helped bring this song to life, and thank you for allowing me to make it my own! I am so excited for everyone to hear it, available to listen now!!
