POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hello my Worldwide Fam! I need your attention for a minute and a half.

Maybe you've noticed that I have been re-posting about "UduRoom" non-stop for the last weeks.

What exactly is UduRoom?

Over the past two years, we've been building something special in Abuja.

UduRoom is a house music bootcamp and creative residency that brings together vocalists, producers, instrumentalists, and live performers to learn, collaborate, and create new music rooted in house music culture and Afro-diasporic traditions.

Over the last two editions, we've brought together artists from Abuja, across Nigeria, and the diaspora to learn from house music legends, collaborate across disciplines, and create original music rooted in the house music culture and community.

And somewhere between the workshops, listening sessions, rehearsals, laughter, panic, breakthroughs, and late-night inspiration...
...we ended up with 30–40 original tracks.

Now we need help getting them across the finish line.

Very soon we'll be launching a crowdfunding campaign to support the first-ever UduRoom Compilation—helping us mix, master, document, and release music created through the residency.

If you've ever danced with me, attended a session, supported House House House, shared a post, or simply believe in independent music culture and emerging electronic music scenes - this one being in Abuja, Nigeria - we'd love for you to keep an eye out.

Until then, head over to @uduroom_by_housex3 and see what we've been cooking.
The music is coming.

Stay tuned.
Crowdfunding launches soon.

A PRAYER FOR MY MOTHER
by K Alexi Shelby
GENRE: Deep Underground Soul
Release Date: February 2026
LABEL: KLASSIK BLUEPRINT MUZIK
Location: US - CHICAGO

Featured Cover Photo:
Me & my mother Judy during my 1st Birthday Party May 7, 1967 in
Redhook Brooklyn NYC

REVIEW:
Produced by Chicago House Music Legend aka K Alexi Shelby & dedicated to mine own mother Judy Anne Pinkney (born April 1) who I lost on March 16, 2010 from complications due to stroke. With her passing, in March, her birthday in April, and Mothers Day all within this short stretch of time, I wanted to dedicate something remarkable to her. No doubt thank you brotha K Alexi Shelby for this one. I also wish to dedicate this incredibly powerful master gem to all who continue to relish in the memory of your own mothers now gone from this world. May God continue to bless you all. - NYC’s Original Dj Paradise
