A full-circle moment. 💐

When I first connected with Future Founders, I was working to turn my vision for Irving Impact Consulting into a business. Through their programming, I gained valuable tools, connections, and insight that helped me along my entrepreneurial journey.

Today, I had the opportunity to return as a guest speaker for their Be Your Own Boss program, participating in a fireside chat with high school students exploring entrepreneurship.

We talked about building a business, navigating challenges, developing confidence, and the importance of putting yourself out there.

One of my favorite moments came afterward, when a student entrepreneur approached me to talk about growing his 3D-printed keychain business. We discussed strengthening his pitch, following up on opportunities, and becoming more visible.

I also had the chance to sit down and have lunch with several students, continuing conversations about entrepreneurship and everyday life.

I’m still building, still learning, and still growing. But moments like these remind me that you don’t have to have everything figured out to share something valuable with someone else.

Grateful to Future Founders for the invitation and for continuing to invest in the next generation of entrepreneurs.

You bring the vision. We provide the structure.

What if we prepared the next generation to create opportunities, not just compete for them?
That was the bigger conversation at New Pathways: Chicago 2026 | From Expression to Enterprise.

Two days bringing together education, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation to explore how young people can turn their ideas and abilities into real-world opportunities.

Theres' a lesson for organizations too: innovation mrans little without the skills, support and systems to make it work.

Appreciation to @getting_smart, @futurefounders @britebound, @incubatoredu_official and @artinmotionchi for helping move this conversation forward.

Registration for @getting_smart New Pathways event in Chicago closes September 25th and we do not want you to miss this one.
One of the highlights of this two-day experience is getting an up-close look at what connected pathways actually look like in practice through school site visits. Two of our own member schools, Oak Park River Forest and Fenton High School, will be part of those visits and we could not be more excited about that. This is your chance to see entrepreneurship and arts education in action in Chicago before sitting down with national and local education leaders to talk about what it could look like in your own community.
Time is running out. Tap the link in our bio to grab your spot before registration closes 👆

@getting_smart is bringing something really exciting to Chicago this October and administators and ed leaders are invited to attend!
What happens when creative expression and entrepreneurial thinking are treated as foundational skills rather than electives? That is the question driving their New Pathways event on October 6 and 7. We are joining @britebound, @futurefounders, and @artinmotionchi for two days of conversations, school site visits, and real connections as we explore new models of education in and around Chicago.
Registration is still open and we would love to see you there. Tap the link in our bio 👆

✨Three years later, I’m still here. And NAILERZ is still here too.✨
If you remember when I first introduced NAILERZ, you probably noticed I disappeared.
I stepped away from social media for almost three years because I needed to focus on myself, the company, and figuring out how to keep moving forward.
There were setbacks. There were moments I questioned the vision. And there were plenty of times I had to learn how to ask for help.
But I never quit.
I kept building.
$13K raised.
4 years in the making.
10 accelerators, incubators, and programs.
Countless lessons, setbacks, mentors, and people who helped shape NAILERZ into what it is today.
And I could never tell this story without acknowledging the people and organizations who believed in NAILERZ along the way.
