Meet your guide, Emily Hupp (@futuresecondwife ), in the lobby of the Schwarzman Building — she'll bring you upstairs into a private room within @nypl 's Manuscripts and Archives Division and walk you through the primary sources that keep jewelry history alive, in the public record and off it. One favorite from her research: a thank-you note collected by Herman Marcus of Marcus & Co., written by a boy he'd met after Marcus gave him a small pin to pass along to a classmate for her birthday. Small, human, and preserved because someone thought to keep it.

My Easter hat this year was an homage Green-Wood in spring with cherry blossoms and a bedazzled monk parakeet. Scroll for some of my favorite creations – the woman who twins with her dog every year, HEATED RIVALRY, another woman who nails it with her annual NYC-centric look, the peace lily lady, an iconic Tiffany reference, Pokémon, and more.

Welcome to the Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival, one of NYC’s most unique traditions, right outside St. Patrick’s Cathedral. @stpatrickscathedral

It dates back to the late 1800s, when New Yorkers would leave Easter services and stroll up Fifth Avenue in their finest outfits. What started as high society fashion… turned into today’s anything-goes spectacle.

So lovely meeting @futuresecondwife IRL today at the Easter Bonnet Parade on Fifth Avenue! She was wearing a historically inspired bonnet so of course we had to make a video. Her hat was inspired by the Jean Schlumberger piece for Tiffany & Co called “Bird on a Rock.” I actually did not know this history so I’m thrilled and honored she was willing to share it!

I was honored to have served on this year’s @thenyjl Winter Ball Committee as we celebrated a major milestone, 125 years of impact. The 74th Annual Winter Ball, Gilded Legacy, was a truly unforgettable evening at Cipriani South Street. We raised over $1 million, the most in the event’s history! The money we raised goes to NYJL’s community programs supporting women, children, and families across New York. I am so proud to be part of this organization and the incredible volunteers who make this work possible. A few snaps from the most memorable night celebrating the New York Junior League’s 125th anniversary at the 74th Annual Winter Ball. ✨

Winter Ball is always a highlight of my year, and this year’s event, Gilded Legacy: Celebrating 125 Years of Impact, was particularly special as we honored @thenyjl ‘s enduring commitment to service, leadership, and community.

Nearly 1,000 volunteers and friends came together to celebrate the organization’s history and future while raising $1M to support our community programming. Thank you to all of the supporters, and congratulations to the committee on all of your hard work!
