Located in the buzzing heart of the capital, Lucent W1 by Landsec is set to become one of the city’s most iconic buildings. Step off the streets and discover a world of calm and contemplation, with expansive green zones and flexible workspaces designed to foster a strong sense of community. LUCENT W1 IS A CUTTING-EDGE DESIGN BUILT WITH NATURE AT ITS HEART, 110,000 sq ft of offices unfolding around a central atrium that floods all five floors with natural light. It’s a space to think, to innovate and recharge at the intersection of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. I was commissioned to photograph the journey of the project with the marketing suite which has the same brand experience of cutting-edge design at the epicentre of Piccadilly. Thirdway Architecture have designed the space using creative lightboxes and recessed coloured fluorescents, in the entrance and hallways like something out of the film, “Bladerunner”. There is a sense of expectation and drama opening out to a serene marketing suite with furniture supplied by Operandum and the fit out completed by QOB Interiors. Lucent W1 truly is where “Architecture awakens the senses”.
