POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Okay, we know we ALL have them.

I swear, sitting like a spaghetti noodle helps me focus. I don't make the rules.

I also find I have a habit of locking myself out of reality after a real good writing session. It takes quite a bit for me to come back to earth, if that makes sense. I'll be SO lost in the story, visualizing the world I created and the scenes I wrote like they're movies, it's difficult for me to come out of. It's like a hallucinationary version of disassociating? 😂

Writers, artists, creatives... I KNOW I'm not the only one. What are your quirks?

Hi new and old friends 🥰

It's been a while since I've introduced myself, and there are a ton of new besties here!

So, I'm Chrissy! I write things, read things, rant about things, and would love to get to know you, too. I'm hoping to publish my debut novel (Book 1 of a trilogy with a novella between books 2 & 3) by end of 2027... maybe sooner 🤞. It's currently in alpha reads and I'm slowly dying as I wait to hear from my readers lolol

I've also commissioned artwork and my cover is DONE! Title drop will be probably before I put out beta applications in the fall/early winter. If youre a fan of dark romantasy (with spice and feminine rage and found family and yearning), stick around!

Also, this challenge made me realize how BAD I am at talking about myself. The last slide was most challenging...I couldn't choose just 5!

Do we have any favs in common?! Let's be friends 🫶

On Saturday, I had the most wonderful day finally meeting two super supportive gals from booksta.

We browsed, bought, ate and nattered. With all intents of writing... we just yapped too much (oops).

Get yourself writing friends.

Just spending a short day with these two ladies left me feeling so motivated and inspired to carry on writing, and to try new things.

I wish I could showcase my amazing team in one post but alas I have to split it into two posts (catch the next one on Friday!)

I'm beyond grateful for this amazing group of humans who have taken time out of their busy lives to read, review, and hype Echoes of Pandora 💚 I'm blown away by their support and I truly believe I have the BEST street team ever 💃

If you're not following them-- what are you waiting for??? 😁

@girlzgottaread tagged me in a #mugstackchallenge and @g.swrites tagged me in a #pumpkinbookstack so I figured I'd combine the two haha

I recently started buying books again (usually I borrow books from the library) so here are some that I've loved and some I'm excited to read! Along with some oldies.

I also realized that I don't have any fun mugs! Haha but I work for Stitch Fix so I figured this would work.

Have you read any of the books in this stack??

I'm going to tag some people for either challenge (no pressure to do it!!)

✨️𝕊ℍ𝕆𝕌𝕋𝕆𝕌𝕋 𝕊𝔸𝕋𝕌ℝ𝔻𝔸𝕐 ✨️

I haven't done one of these before, so boo on me, because without these incredibly lovely people, bookstagram would not be what it is for me.

There are SO many of you I wanted to include, but I'm starting with my very first band of merry readers 💓

I'm so grateful for this lot who welcomed me to #bookstagram with open arms and helped me meet other bookish besties. Not only has this bunch provided me with a source of friendship, but they've provided constant enthusiasm and encouragement about my photography, writing, reviews, and overall posts.

So, thank you for your friendship that I'll always treasure (and for hallucinating over trees inscribed with fictional places and drool-worthy characters with me ♡).

But also, their pages are all so freaking cool. They're personal and unique, pretty and they give the best book recs ✨️ you need their light and creativity on your feed!!

I mean, what's the point of being here if not to connect with others who share your insane love for books, coffee, the fall, and pets? 🥰
