Another year flying with @hoka_eu πŸͺ½ . I genuinely can’t remember whether we’re six or seven years in, but I’m incredibly grateful to still be part of the HOKA Racer crew. It’s been long enough for the shoes to know my feet better than I do πŸ‘Ÿ . We had a brilliant summit last week, time together as a team, updates on the brand and Racer Programme, and a look at some of the new kit. We love a new shoe and colour way! . Including some fresh Clifton goodness. Still my favourites. At this point, we’re basically in a long term relationship ❀️ . It got me thinking about how much ground I’ve covered in HOKA, marathons and ultras, roads and trails, mountains and questionable weather. There have been highs, lows and a few moments when my legs formally requested legal representation 🫠 . 10 MARATHONS πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ . 2018 Budapest 3:31 | 2019 Amsterdam 3:17 2020 London Virtual 3:57 | 2022 London 3:31 2023 London 3:21 | Goodwood 3:27 2024 London 3:11 2025 London 3:13 | Berlin 3:35 2026 London 3:22 . 5 ULTRAS ⛰️ . 2023 Camino Ultra 4:30 2024 St Neots 55M 11:22 2025 Phoenix 50K 5:23 | RTTS 100K 16:19 2026 Race to the King 50K 7:00 . Looking back, I’m reminded that progress isn’t always linear, and running isn’t just about getting faster. . Sometimes it’s about going further, getting home or convincing yourself the hill definitely wasn’t there last time! πŸ˜… . Different distances. Different versions of me. Same love for moving, exploring and seeing what’s possible. . I’ve come a long way, and there’s still plenty of road and trail ahead. My legs may disagree, but they haven’t been consulted πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ (We Move) . Massive thanks to the HOKA team for another year of support, belief and opportunity. . Proper grateful to keep doing this with one of the best crews around. . Here’s to more miles, more adventures and hopefully fewer questionable decisions πŸ™Œ . Week 5 training block for @royalparkshalf side mission @officialbighalf Long run session 06/09/2026 3rd year in a row doing the big half, one of my favourite 13.1 miles! As well as taking place in my birthday month it happened to coincide with my 13 mile long run of the training plan. It was suppose to be easy pace but I thought I would spice it up and try jeffing for the first time in a race. The aim was to beat my previous time which in my head I had it as 1:49 Jeffing plan was run for two miles and 1 minute walk/ jog rinse and repeat. I hit two miles and was feeling strong so decided to carry on for an extra mile before walking jogging. This in- game change was a nice touch, the big relay changeovers was the perfect indicator for when I had to take a breather This year I really got to catch the vibes and enjoy the crowd who were immense. The energy they gave throughout the course was world class!! So many fantastic people I saw out there moving on the course @sw16rc and @keep.it.movin.k.i.m.tv fan were out in full force @monica.runs.this @physio4meuk @keep.it.movin.k.i.m.tv @fitness_queenab @marisadpl @agnieszka_agape @raju211989 @ryanrussell79 @benpushes @the_mad_marathoner @iamindrakumar @hya1968 @duragdudefitness @g4ogami to name a few How was jeffing? Surprisingly good. It split the race into dedicated chicks and allowed me to go out a bit faster than usual. It also meant I didn't feel the self inflicted disappointment of stopping because it was part of the plan. I still felt tired in the legs from 15km / 9 miles but that has always been the case. Time wise I beat 1:49 πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ I however got last year time wrong - I got 1:45.54 in 2025 this year I got 1:45.55! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰. A second slower but a lot happier than I was last year where I struggled the second part of the race! Can't wait to run this back in 2027 #52wlhealth #52wl #running #runningmotivation #runnersofinsta

ERC | Carnival Run 2026 (1/2) Last Sunday we celebrated the 7th annual ERC Carnival Run and Emancipated Run Crew’s @emancipatedruncrew 7th Birthday as well as celebrating Notting Hill Carnival’s 60th Anniversary. We held a minute’s silence to honour Jason Arday. We visited a number of blue plaques in the Notting Hill area celebrating London’s black history. We brought our flags, whistles, foghorns, music, dancing and plenty of vibes. A true celebration of communities coming together to celebrate the joy of movement an event for everyone. A choice of either a 5K run or 2.5K walk giving you the option to sprint, jog, walk, whine, or simply take time and enjoy the atmosphere. We again supported the Sickle Cell Society @sicklecelluk and and its Give Blood, Spread Love campaign. To raise awareness about the urgent need for ethnically matched blood donations 🩸 increase confidence in giving blood and recruit new blood donors. πŸ“Έ Humphrey Nemer | @hum3pics #NottingHillCarnival #NottingHillCarnival2026 #NHC26 #CarnivalReady #Carnival60
