UTAH PT. 11 | THE PICKLE FOUNTAIN 🥒

Some people have chocolate fountains at their parties. We have pickle fountains. Because why the hell wouldn't we?!

If you know our crew, you know we have a slightly concerning relationship with pickles. We've taken pickle juice shots together during training runs, pulled out pickles in the middle of Spartan races, eaten them at the top of mountains, and tried just about every ridiculous pickle-flavored thing we can get our hands on. At this point, pickles are practically a personality trait for this group.

So when Ginger came across an actual FOUNTAIN and suggested we fill it with pickle juice for Goggins, there was absolutely no convincing needed. I was already planning to buy a gallon of pickle juice for my birthday party so we could have pickle juice shots during shot o'clock for anyone who wasn't drinking alcohol. What's a little extra pickle juice for Goggins?!

And just like that, the pickle fountain became a thing. Because nothing says a perfectly normal gathering of endurance athletes quite like a fountain full of pickle juice.

Now, did we account for the fact that a fountain continuously circulating pickle juice would fill the room with the lovely, overpowering aroma of vinegar? Absolutely not. 🤣

Our beautiful masterpiece lasted a whopping hour or two before we decided maybe we didn't need to marinate the entire party in pickle fumes. So the fountain was retired early. Gone, but never forgotten. 🪦🥒

Was it ridiculous? Yes. Was it worth it? ALSO YES.

And honestly, the fact that this idea made perfect sense to all of us might be my favorite part. 💕
