I’m incredibly honored to share that I am a contributing author to GENTLENESS through the HopeWriters collaboration. 📖✨

My why has always been simple: to help others find the language of self-love. 💗

Through the storms of my own life, I’ve learned that some of our greatest transformations happen when we turn inward. 🌧️➡️🌱

I began reframing the questions I was asking myself—from:

💭 “Why is this happening to me?”

to:

✨ “What am I learning from this?”

That shift helped me step out of the loop of lack and begin doing the deeper inner work—learning to see myself with compassion instead of criticism. 🤍

So when I was invited to collaborate on GENTLENESS, I didn’t hesitate.

I jumped in. 🙌🏽✨

Because gentleness isn’t weakness. 🌿

It’s giving yourself permission to grow without constantly judging where you are.

It’s learning to speak to yourself with the same love you so freely give to others. 💕🪞

And it’s remembering that even through life’s storms, there is still a way back to yourself. 🌧️➡️🌤️

I’m so grateful to be part of this beautiful collaboration and to share a piece of my story through GENTLENESS. 📖🤍

What a blessing it is when you get to have a coffee breakfast date with your crystal energy healer. ❤️✨

I finally got to meet Gail IN PERSON today! Until now, we have only connected online, so getting to actually sit across the table from her, have coffee, talk about life and business, and finally hug her was such a gift.

And because she’s Gail, of course she showed up with beautiful crystals for me. 🥹

Gail is incredibly knowledgeable about crystal healing energy and money manifestation, but what inspires me most about her is how she has taken her own pain and turned it into purpose, and then used that purpose to power her dreams. I have such a deep appreciation for people who take what they’ve walked through and use it to help other people rise.

She also gives the ABSOLUTE BEST hugs, and somehow she’s even prettier in person than she is in her videos. 🥰

Gail, thank you for the crystals, the coffee, the conversation, the hugs, the wisdom and such a beautiful morning. I’m so grateful that our online connection finally became a real-life one.

Morning! Air quality's still bad in NYC, so I'm staying in today to work on a chapter project. But of course, I need a little magic—the kind that grounds me and helps my writing flow and spiritual and guidance. Sitting in gratitude. The language of self love today is setting up boundaries, get deep with my hobbies, and showing up for myself.

I have seen some very dark places in the last few years. All of them I was alone and isolated which made the darkness so much scarier.

In 2022 I spent three days in the deepest darkest hole I’d ever been in, trying to simultaneously talk myself into and out of either leaving earth.

When I came out of it, It was a pivotal moment where I decided that there will never be another person or situation that would take my power to the point where I felt there were no more options.

I would never be in a place that dark again. Although I survived many more very painful de@ths and rebirths since then, that one is the most painful and most significant because I made two choices that day;

🙏🏻To live
💪🏻And to always be the decision maker in that life

You are exhausted, tired, frustrated and lost because no matter how much effort you put in no matter how hard you work, no matter what you do you can’t figure out why the results don’t come in.

That is what happened to me which is why I know how to create a roadmap for you.

The worst day of my life became the foundation for the woman I am today.

What happened on my wedding day could have broken me forever. Instead, it forced me to grow in ways I never would have chosen. It taught me resilience, faith, perspective, and the kind of strength that only comes from surviving the unimaginable.

Today, I own two businesses, drive the car I once only dreamed about, and wake up every day with a purpose that pain helped shape. Not because life got easier, but because I refused to let tragedy write the rest of my story.

If you’re walking through a season that feels impossible, don’t quit. Keep showing up. Keep healing. Keep believing. Your current chapter is not your final one.

One beautiful fall day, on the small and intimate beach at a friend’s property in Colchester Beach, Vermont, my fiancé and I held our wedding day. It was the most magical location overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains with the most perfect fall weather on a private beach, with forty of our closest family and friends in attendance.

About five minutes into my wedding ceremony, my soon to be sister-in-law stood up to read a poem I had chosen. She was emotional, and trying to gather herself for a few long moments. She was crying and couldn't seem to control the overwhelming feelings she was having.

Just a few rows back, one of our friends started whispering, "She's gonna pass out. She's gonna pass out."

Molly seemed to gather herself enough to make a joke, and said, "You knew I would!" Meaning, her brother knew she'd get emotional.
We all laughed as she reached over to grab her brother’s arm as a gesture of love and then collapsed and died.

This story is about one day that changed my life. One day that gradually unraveled a lifetime of living for others, and living a small, purposeless life, into one of fulfillment.

One day that was so catastrophic there were only two paths: one of continuing the self destruction, which would have led to a total collapse of a life that was already hanging on by a thread, or the one I chose….one of purpose, expansion, and total healing of my entire inner and outer self.

There was a time when I thought this experience would define the rest of my life.
For a long time, I carried the weight of what happened in silence. I replayed it, questioned it, and allowed it to shape how I saw myself.

But here’s what I’ve learned:
Healing doesn’t happen because time passes. Healing happens when you decide to do the work. That work isn’t easy. It’s uncomfortable. It’s messy. It asks you to face the very things you’d rather avoid. But on the other side is something I never thought was possible: peace, freedom, and a version of yourself that isn’t controlled by your past.

I’m sharing this story not because I want sympathy, but because I know someone reading this may feel stuck in their own pain.

If that’s you, I want you to know this:
What happened to you matters. Your pain is real. But it doesn’t have to write the rest of your story.
