Le vingt-neuvième 🎂

On the journey to the promised land; God pushed me into difficult circumstances, in which I had no choice but to overcome ❤️‍🔥

I’m blessed to be seen by others as an unc, a king, or OG. But within myself, I’m just Chris; someone that NEEDED to become better 📈

Grateful to every soul I’ve intwined with, like a mirror, you’ve helped show me who I am. It’s time to show myself what I’m truly made of! 🛠️

Football has been an integral part of my life. In the last four years, I’ve played at least once every week & even created a WhatsApp group of just football lovers.

It’s one of my happy places. I’ve invited everyone that matters to me to come watch; Wife, kid, parents, in-laws, friends etc. So, if I’ve never invited you, check your heart 😂

I wasn’t always crazy about football. Growing up, I didn’t even care to watch the sport and I wondered why @d_giddy would get visibly upset (to the point of losing appetite) when Chelsea loses.

As a kid, I didn’t fit the traditional profile of a footballer, so while I wanted to play, I often got left out of teams.

Meanwhile, one of my favourite memories in secondary school was clearing a ball to defend my goal post, after coming on for the last 2 minutes. It felt really good.

Now, I’m way past my prime to be a pro-footballer, but as long as these legs move, you’d always find me on a pitch; keeping scores, assisting, scoring goals and wondering why more people don’t subscribe to the tiki-taka way of football.

Big ups to @galeriedereece for the sick shots!
