POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Being named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Creators is an honor of a lifeTIME. And being among so many creators who I deeply admire on this list honestly makes this 10x more special. Thank you @time . 🫶🏻🥹

I started creating inside of strangers’ homes after my life unexpectedly fell apart. Desperate to find myself again, I poured as much creativity into filming & editing these weekend projects as I did into the projects themselves. All forms of creating, whether renovating homes or editing on my MacBook, became my therapy. Creating saved my life.

I have immeasurable gratitude for everyone who has trusted me blindly with their home, my team who has grown into the most beautiful family imaginable, my emotional support dogs (especially Charlye🪽) & for all of you being here with me making this even possible. Thank you from the bottom and top of my perpetually healing heart.

Love you, mean it.🫶🏻🩷

Dating in 2026 is like catching a falling knife. It’s more likely to end in pain than success but we can’t use that to justify settling. I’m two years deep & the dating pool definitely has pee in it, but I’m not tagging myself out just yet. Check back in 6 months though.

To SHOP everything here (from paint colors to decor), click the link in my bio to www.galeyalixdesign.com, select “SHOP MY PROJECTS”, select project DEL MARENE II.

As for this project, this was the second phase of a home we surprised an incredibly kind, hard working soul with to finish off her dream home. We surprised her with a finished home office, guest bedroom, foyer & laundry closet this time. Marene, thank you for trusting us blindly with your beautiful home, again. It was an honor.🥹

Special thank you to the wildly talented @pj_fetscher for all the millwork, to @neffliving for the bedroom custom ceiling panels, @sdcremodelingcompany & @kaymarryshow for pouring your handy talents into so many install hours & never leaving my side, & my extraordinary install superwomen @monica_batista017 @desirewxe @kyliecerra @shannon.gunning @laurenrose12 . Love you all beyond comprehension🫶🏻🥹

My wallpaper is easy to install and also RENTER FRIENDLY which means it’s even easier to remove! NO damage to your paint or drywall!

I’ll be posting how-to videos soon so you can see how easily you can DIY this! Think walls, ceilings, & inside cabinets/drawers. I CANNOT WAIT to see what you do with it! Please tag me in your after photos or DM me your pics, I LIVE for these🥹!!! Love you so big, enjoy!!!

It’s launch day! My RUGS are finally out & ready to help refresh your home! All 7 of my custom collections I made with @livabliss are now on Amazon, Wayfair & Home Depot with FAST & FREE shipping! Search my name on those sites & LINKS are in my story highlight called RUGS!

**As a vow I made to the love of my life, Charlye🐾, who recently passed, a % of EVERY sale will go to the Foundation I sit on the Board of for rescuing & rehabilitating animals! 🫶🏻

🩷COMMON QUESTIONS I’M GETTING🩷
-all 7 Collections are SUPER SOFT under foot
-all 7 collections DO NOT shed (that drives me insane)
-each collection comes in varying SIZES
-they are available in CANADA via Wayfair currently
-available in EUROPE via Amazon in January! (Globally available next yeaR, I’m working on it!)
-each collection is at a DIFFERENT PRICE POINT based on materials & quality, but across the board we kept it as low as possible with the highest quality and obsession over details 🥰
-I did not want machine washable rugs bc they have to be super thin so I find the edges curl up & never lay flat. I want every rug I make to elevate your space and look high-end perpetually
-they are all EASY to spot CLEAN with mild soap and water. They are ALL low pile (except The Architect collection) so stains come up very easy and my vintage patterns help hide dirty or recently cleaned areas too! #dogmom
-the colors you see in pics online are very ACCURATE. No filters used. Don’t let the ‘color names’ on Amazon for each rug throw you off. TRUST THE PHOTOS not the names.
-fave for a living room + runners: checkered Myrtle Ave, Maria Elena, Fetscher, & Collins Ave collections
-fave for a bedroom: Maria Elena, Luciana, Collins Ave collections
-fave for a nursery + great price: The Architect collection

As for my second launch, meet Bair. She’s the greatest surprise to my heart I never saw coming. Patch and I can’t stop wagging our tails (and crying happy tears) 🥹🐾. We love and miss you every second of every day Charlye girl.

🤎 All items & paint LINKED on my WEBSITE🤎. Just click the link in my bio to my website & then every item is linked under ‘Shop my Projects’ and then Project WELL-COME HOME.

I’d call this design style ‘elevated equestrian’ though there are a lot of pieces you could pull from these rooms to transition into other styles. I love incorporating crossover pieces that can transition between different aesthetics. It’s something I do in every project and it helps keep things feeling fresh and not too ‘on the nose’ for any one particular style. That’s when things get predictable… and I don’t ever want to be predictable.

I also really want to thank YOU for being here & for all the incredible support you’ve shown my team and I since our show ended. Your energy has kept our spirits high and our bodies working. That means our hearts are full. Thank you from my the bottom of my especially grateful heart; you’re literally the best.

Need your help!!! Pls drop ANY title suggestions you have for my new coffee table book in the comments! It’s a ‘how-to design’ book & anything that plays off of heart, passion, DIY’ing would be ideal. And the title does NOT need my name in it ☺️! I am struggling hard with this one so throw everything you have at me!

And omgosh this project (Hunter’s Home phase II) was so fun! Wanted to create a cozy bedroom for them and an elegant + calming office for her. I can’t wait to share their reactions! In the meantime…

EVERYTHING in these rooms is linked on my website! Just click the link in my bio and then > Shop Projects > Shop Hunter’s Home.

Love you sm & thanks in advance for ANY title suggestions!! 🫶🏻🥰

Converted the Polly Pocket sized closet under my stairs into a new pantry that almost makes me want to cook.

All jars & labels & scoops are linked on my Amazon storefront (you can find it on my website… link in bio). And yes, the labels are waterproof, the jars are galey-approved air tight, and real glass. Don’t come for me. 😊

Special thank you to my superhero @pj_fetscher for executing these custom cabinets + ceiling flawlessly! You remain undefeated sir. And thank you to my bff @jcdelgado2020 for tiling + drywalling with me, you make everything better!

It’s a bedroom fireplace bi$h! I upgraded the working fireplace in my primary bedroom because this farmhouse looking one no longer matches the cozy transitional vibe in the rest of my home. I wanted something romantic, clean and timeless. I also live in Florida so before you @ me, it’s rarely ever going to be used to burn logs, hence why I put candles in it. 😉

Getting rid of the raw wood mantel, all the shiplap lines and the sconces gave me a new clean surface to work with. It felt dated and had too much going on. I chose not to mix textures here (shocking, I know!) because I find simplicity to be more romantic and elegant when it comes to fireplaces. Don’t worry, I’ll layer textures into the bed linens and decor to make sure it still feels warm and cozy.😌

If you want to replicate anything you see here from the actual fireplace itself to the framed photographs it’s all linked on my website. Click the link in my bio, then ‘shop my projects’, then ‘SHOP GALEY’S HOME.’

This is not an ad but huge shout out to @dreamcastdesign where I order all my fireplaceS from, ya’ll make it so easy to do high-end custom built fireplaces! I linked this exact fireplace surround on my website for ya (follow instructions in previous paragraph).

And special thanks to my partner in crime and forever best friend @jcdelgado2020 who makes these projects not only possible, but so fun. Ilysm.
