Consistency: showing up even when you don’t want to until a practice becomes a habit!

Was able to pull 370 lbs for my last three sets today. Feeling under the weather (this is how the third month in a row I’ve come down with something… tis the season in our home)

But showing up and getting it done today!

Life is better with my family by my side. I love this crazy crew more than anything in the world. And on a completely unrelated note, roosters are weird.

Missing @taylorrae_larson tonight since she was at work!!

Testing out the new Arm Anchors for some lifts today!!

These things are SICK!! Great attachment to help isolate your upper body on some cable lifts!

I am super excited for my shoulder lifts with these to be honest!! I need to build my shoulders big time so these are going to be amazing!!

Love when people get innovative with their products!

If you lift weights and want some isolation, checkout @original_arm_anchor and get a pair!

December 6th of 2025 was the day I realized how bad it had gotten!!

But it wasn’t an immediate change. In fact, it wasn’t until 4:00 AM that following Monday, the 8th, that I broke and decided things had to change!

And one thing I’ve learned these past 10 months is the compound effect of consistency!!

Spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, professionally, etc.

Remain consistent. Stay in the fight.

1. Lack of Progressive Overload: Your body has adapted to your routine because you aren’t increasing weight, resistance, or intensity over time

2. Poor Nutrition: You may not be fueling your body with enough nutrients (especially protein) to support muscle growth and recovery.

3. Inconsistency: Sporadic, irregular workouts prevent your body from making long-term adaptations.

If you are struggling with any of these we can help. Contact is today.

Sometimes I have to trick my mind into saying “you’re fine. You’re not hurt” and that works!! Like today! Haha

Knee was super stiff, but I ran my 20 minutes and then got warmed up and got under the bar! And I literally just told myself before squatting “you’re fine Shane. Your knee isn’t hurt” and honestly I didn’t even think about my knee the whole time haha!

The mind is a powerful tool!

Had a good leg day today! Just trying to make progress where I can!!

Stay in the fight! Remain consistent! Watch the reps add up!

Almost 11 months in on this journey. Lifting 3 days a week. Running on the off days. Doing my best to remain consistent with all my goals!

This year has been life changing! And the fight continues. Keep. Moving. Forward!

In 2020 I began doing “long distance running” (if you want to call it that) mainly because I had never done it before and I wanted to challenge myself.

At that time, I had come across @ko_stretch and his content. And it was actually a video on his Facebook page that caught my attention that I still use to this day!!

It was about how you stretch and the breathing and timing of your stretches.

He mentioned rather than counting seconds, try focusing on your breaths as the counting point.

Small, minor shift, but it’s been something I’ve done ever since 🤷‍♂️
