I had the opportunity to serve as an SGL at alumni camp, which made me who I am today. I am so glad to be small group leader number 28. I am very proud of my campers; they were very great and attentive. And lastly, I want to say thank you to the rest of the SGLs and other staff members for encouraging me after every session, and I hope that I left a small impact on others around me!!!

Alumni Leadership Camp ‘26

Last year after the opportunity to serve as an SGL, I instantly knew I wanted to do it again and absolutely could not wait! Now that the time has come and gone I’m already looking forward to next year! I could not be more thankful than to serve the OKFFA and all the campers with this great group!

~Be Present Where Your Feet Are~

Sitting here, wishing I could have one more general session, one more small group, or one more life-changing conversation over dinner. I find myself FULL of gratitude.

GRATEFUL for the people that made ALC a second home,
GRATEFUL for every second spent at camp,
GRATEFUL to have something so meaningful, that it makes it so hard to say goodbye (or maybe just, “see you later”)

In all 4 of my “best friends” I have it written off to the side, “Be present where your feet are.” In between all of the friendships gained, memories made, and conversations that changed my perspective, I found my purpose simply by being present in the moment.

So…. Never take an opportunity for granted, always be grateful for where you are, and don’t be afraid to go into uncharted territories.

ALC, can’t wait to see you again
