Hold not thy life so dear to seriousness, when joy is found in folly 🕯️🌙🧙‍♀️✨

@garrettmckean and I played dress up and went to the Renaissance Festival as a witch and a warlock (the theme this weekend was “witches and their rivials” 🐈‍⬛

This off-season has been so different and so special already. Our goal was to live a little more and not be so tethered to being “perfect” bodybuilders. In the past we’ve been so concerned with executing everything at 100% we allowed date nights to fall to the wayside.

Every weekend we’ve been on a date of some kind and it’s truly like falling in love all over again 🥰

So far this year I’ve learned: I’m better at knife throwing and shooting target with an Apple cannon that Garrett.. however, he is much (much) stronger than me 🫣

We had our friends Mina and Garrett come train with us at Oak Island Fitness this weekend, and this is one of the coolest parts about what we’ve built.

We love having people come through our facilities, train hard, experience the atmosphere, and leave knowing they’re always welcome back.

Do us a favor and give these two a follow. @garrettmckean @major.mina

Mina continues to make huge strides as an IFBB Pro, with her eyes set on earning her way to the Olympia stage.

Garrett is still in pursuit of that Pro Card. He was literally inches away at this year’s North Americans, and anyone who knows his work ethic knows it’s only a matter of time.

Two incredible athletes, but even better people.

We’re grateful they spent the weekend with us at Oak Island Fitness, and we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way.

Keep working. Keep showing up. It’s only a matter of time. 💪

The perfect birthday reset 🎂🏝️ 🌊🎈🐚

Finally took some time to slow down with my love and go on vacation for the first time in over 3 years! We got to be present and really reflect on all the amazing things we’ve done and talk about plans for our future.

We also got to try out some new gyms including @oakislandfitness which was truly a gem in such a quaint beach town, took the dogs to the beach for the first time, baked a cake, and watched the sun rise 💛

Year 28 was magical, I accomplished so many things I’ve always dreamed of but- I have a feeling year 29 is going to be even better 🙏🫶

Thank you to everyone for all of the birthday wishes!!! 🥰

Some days you feel strong as hell.
Some days you’re tired, stressed, beat up, and just wanna say fuck it.

THOSE are the days that count.

Push a little harder. Dig a little deeper. Find out what the fuck you’re made of.

I didn’t come this far by stopping when shit got uncomfortable. I came this far because I kept showing up—early mornings, long ass days, tired workouts, and all.

Your mind will tell you to quit way before your body is finished.

Push it to the limit. Don’t give up.

We ain’t done building yet. 😤💪🔥

PROJECT 302, BABY.
Built. Driven. Disciplined.

Spent the day in the apple orchard with the apple of my eye 🍎

Getting out of the city, no phones, no distractions, just myself and @garrettmckean connecting with each other ❤️ I honestly could not have imagined a more perfect day if I tried.

When you’re in love with your best friend every day is magical but, I’m still smiling from all the memories we created yesterday 🥹🥰

A snippet of my North Americans experience with The Jacoby Effect team, @j_jacoby32 and the things I witnessed that culminated into 11 pro card wins, 7 overall wins and just what makes The Jacoby Effect so incredibly successful. The full video will be dropping Monday.

FROM FAT POTATO 🥔 TO PROJECT 302. 😂💪🔥

I can laugh about it now, but back then I knew damn well I needed to make a change. I talked about it. Thought about it. Probably said “I’m gonna start” more times than I can count.

Then one day… I finally got tired of hearing myself talk.

Stopped rappin’ bout it.
Started BEING bout it.

And that’s when shit started changing.

Not just my body either. My discipline changed. My confidence changed. My mindset changed. My LIFE changed.

And I’m still the same dude. Still running the shop. Still dealing with long-ass days. Still got responsibilities, stress, and every excuse in the world to skip the work.

I just don’t let those excuses run the show anymore.

So yeah… roast the fat potato if you want. 😂🥔
But give that motherfucker some credit too…

HE FINALLY STARTED.

And because he did, Project 302 exists today. 🛠️🏋️‍♂️🔥

BUILT. DRIVEN. DISCIPLINED.
WE’RE STILL BUILDING, BABY.

It was all a dream - Pittsburgh Recap

I can't believe it's already here and gone. I had the best time with the best people met new friends connected with old ones and they even got a surprise visit from my wife as a topping on the cake.

We worked hard. We played hard and I wish I could relive it again. Until next time, Pittsburgh ✌🏼

Proud is an understatement when it comes to the emotions I experienced watching you in the crowd this week @garrettmckean

I’m the only one who truly sees how much you put into this dream on a day to day basis.

I’m the only one who watches you juggle an extremely demanding full time job, bodybuilding, home life, my show season, and our relationship.

I’m the only one who watched you give your cardio sessions all you’ve got each morning even when you seemingly had nothing to give.

I was the only one who saw just how hungry you were on those low food days when you were trying to make weight.

Everyone works hard in prep, but watching you execute the plan day in and day out despite your feelings deepened my respect for you that much more.

It’s such an honor to chase your dreams with you. Your time is coming and I cannot wait to continue to cheer you on along this journey, my Sun and Stars ⭐️ ☀️
